a masterpiece lost to poor timing
I first smelled this back in the early 2000s and fell in love with it, as I was going through a bit of a leather phase at the time. The softer, suede leather in Cuiron was really striking. It was beautiful, lasted quite a while, and sat fairly close to skin -- which, for leather scents wasn't and still isn't too common.
As I approach my final 5 ml from my 100 ml original bottle of this suede masterpiece, I'm left wondering why this is no longer on the market. The original release was short-lived, as it was discontinued in 2005 after only three years on the market. Fast forward to 2014, the company chose to re-release the fragrance less than ten years later -- too soon -- and was discontinued before the explosion in the fragrance segment in recent years.
While I am no longer terribly interested in the leather genre (especially with how many are executed these days), a scent like Cuiron is sorely needed on the market today.
