Aldehydric soda

Smelling this perfume is to move the memory to moments so old that we have not lived, to a time that does not correspond to us. Aldehydric, like green, floral somewhat messy soda. Something a bit shameless and disheveled is in this fragrance. It takes me to the temporal borders of my smell and I love that.

Great Classic...

.... with striking similarity to Chanel No. 5 in extrait concentration. However, at a fraction of the price. So ladies, those of you who are enchanted by floral aldehydes, grab the bottle! With so much money saved, you can easily afford the little black dress in Rue Cambon as a bonus! :)-

As it develops, Topaze becomes a bit powderier and drier than the original, perhaps because more affordable musk has been used? Or because my No. 5 extraits are all vintage and therefore somehow rounder than the newer editions? Who knows....
In any case, it’s a joyful discovery for me, as I have completely fallen for this timeless classic as described by Parfumo Yatagan. For more modern people, Topaze might be the grandma horror or the horror grandma. It makes me blissful!
