Bourbon Vanilla

Vanille simply smells like bourbon vanilla, nothing more, nothing less. And if you love this scent, it’s hard to resist. It’s soft, warm, and enveloping. Simple, yes, but in the best way.

After all, it’s called Vanille, and that’s exactly what it delivers. No twists, no surprises, just pure, authentic vanilla, sweet and comforting.

I keep sniffing my wrist, never getting tired of it.

This is exactly the texture I love in vanilla fragrances!
When they warm up on the skin in such a lazy and creamy-white way, gradually unfolding their rich scent facets almost sluggishly, I am thrilled!
I gladly let myself be enchanted by this type of vanilla scent.
(The enchanting fairy vanilla creations by Sylvaine Delacourte, whose fragrances caress and let the soul float like butterfly wings, play in a completely different league.)

Honoré Payan has already convinced me with his patchouli scent dreams; so I was naturally very curious about his almost pure "Vanilla."

Although the February sun is already quite warm, the sharp wind cools through and awakens the longing for warming pudding or even hot chocolate.
But the wardrobe, even that of winter, is already pinching and tugging; so I seek warmth in this vanilla fragrance artwork.

Creamy-white, I am enveloped by a viscous vanilla, sweet and warming, lightly tinged with anise:
Not too much and not too little - very tasteful in the overture.
For some time now, I have enjoyed smoked vanilla in fragrance compositions, and here I am fully satisfied, as the aromatic resinous smoke of benzoin permeates the existing, slightly spicy sweetness and awakens the senses, which can then snuggle into a warm musk blanket with a fine, animalistic hint - like a loving soft embrace.
Pure gourmand luxury fragrance that even reveals a fine hint of cognac on my skin over time:
Delicious, simply delicious!

As with his patchouli creations, this fragrance artist has created a very special gem: generous and rich in sillage and longevity, yet almost minimalist in the ingredients - with almost divine success:
Honoré Payan's "Vanilla" is a tribute to femininity and the goddess Aphrodite!
