It Needs Time
Sexycrush is actually not a bad scent at all. Judging by the ratings, it doesn't fare too well. However, I must say that the fragrance has its merits. The initial phase is a bit bumpy, and it has its rough edges. This is probably also the reason why the ratings haven't been great so far.
The scent starts off, as mentioned, relatively unevenly.

Over time, everything changes. The fragrance becomes significantly smoother. The notes come together and create a beautiful overall picture. Of course, one must like this type of scent, that's true. Sexycrush does have its rough edges. Oud accords, rose accords, balsamic accords, and so on can be a bit jarring. But I actually enjoy this combination of a relatively pleasing oud nuance, the rose, the slightly earthy patchouli, the lightly smoky myrrh accord, and the existing sweetness. In this phase, which extends quite nicely until the end, the scent even comes across as relatively elegant to me.
I find the longevity and sillage to be good. The scent lasts about eight hours on my skin and projects quite well.
