Nighttime Ice Flowers at the Window, Daytime Already Warm Sunshine
This is such a "between-seasons" time, when winter has not quite ended and spring has not quite begun. In the evenings, you almost freeze your fingers off, and during the day, you can already sunbathe in fairly sheltered spots.
The anticipation for the upcoming, warmer third of the year is great. And Joy expresses this almost frenetically. The scent seems to truly mimic cold ice flowers, as Galbanum and Lily of the Valley create exactly this impression. Later, Joy becomes bright and radiant, the aldehydes support rose and jasmine in their blooming and make the sunshine feel warm and pleasant. It is still damp, and the ground is cold, and it smells of wood and moss. The first violets are already showing, stretching their white and blue heads towards the pale blue late-winter sky. Their scent is a messenger of the approaching spring. Now the fragrance turns green like the icy lake, on the shore of which I sit on a sunny bench sheltered from the wind. Just two or three more hours, and then night will fall with its cold air. Then I like to sit in the warmth, still inhaling the wonderful scent of the well-known Patou perfume.

A cold green scent that opens with lily-of-the-valley and ends with civet. Lighter, more wearable than the EDP, but also less exciting.

Never goes out of style. Heavy dose of rose-jasmine. Indole plays along, you have to be okay with that. Very high recognition value.
Signature of a diva.

Sometimes it just has to be Joy. A cornucopia of joy, nostalgic shine, and "a few drops of happiness."

Bursting joy of life in radiant floral hues, caresses with musky sensuality, leaving gentle scratch marks thanks to civet.

Peach-Jasmine-Bergamot intro, then a Chypre blast with wonderful rose. From rose bed to rose patch. Green, powerful aura. Oh, civet :-/

Vintage, around the 90s: Juicy rose with jasmine, a dazzling radiance. In between, powdery lily of the valley. Towards the end, green and powdery.

Golden floral rustle. Poliboy furniture polish.
Soapy aldehydes, jasmine, and rose.
Green nuances create a sort of chypre character.

Versatile, wearable like the EdP, which is too bold for some days, but just as elegant! Another Patou that I love unconditionally.

Starts beautifully with maximum golden vintage warmth, but then a disturbing civet note comes through. If it doesn't bother you, you're lucky :)
