The bottle is beautiful, and I like the scent too
The bottle is beautiful, and I like the scent too

Based on a sample, I will share my scent experience. A heartfelt thank you for the sample ;-)

I really like Daisy Sunshine. The scent is light, not overpowering, fresh, floral, and slightly fruity. Ideal for those who don’t like heavy and intrusive fragrances. It’s not sweet either.

Fortunately, I can't detect black currant, as that can quickly become too sweet and heavy. The mandarin gives the fragrance a light fruity-citrus note, but it is more in the background. The flowers come through very clearly, and the base note gives the whole composition the finishing touch. It is a successful blend where you can't go wrong if you enjoy fresh and floral scents.

I could wear it all year round. However, it will definitely unfold very well in summer and spring, especially if you prefer it fresh only when it’s warm.

I like the bottle. Like all the bottles from Marc Jacobs, really. Something different from the blocks you usually have. And they are all decorative. Maybe a bit kitschy, but I like it. The colors are beautiful and match the scent, and that’s the most important thing.

I tolerate it very well. My head doesn’t mind it, my skin enjoys it, and you definitely won’t annoy people around you with this scent.

I find its longevity quite good. That certainly depends on each individual’s skin, as it always does. But on me, it lasts well. I used it three hours ago today, and I can still perceive it very clearly. If you want to smell it all day, you will need to reapply it 2 to 3 times.

The scent works anytime. And should I ever reach the end of my collection, I will buy a Daisy. Whether it’s Sunshine, Dream, or neither, remains to be seen.

Picnic on the Summer Meadow...but unfortunately only for a Short Time
Now I want to try my hand at a comment. I chose a fragrance that is rather untypical for me. I haven't had anything from Marc Jacobs before, and the scents are definitely still on my wish list. Not because they are bad, but it's just not really my taste. Anyway, just because of the cheerful bottle, the fragrance has found its way into my collection.
But now to the scent itself. It starts off very zesty. The mandarin is clearly noticeable, and the other zesty component must be the guava. Gradually, I start to detect a peach note or something similar, even though peach is not actually mentioned in the pyramid. All in all, at first sniff, it’s a typical summer fragrance, like a delicious fruit salad enjoyed at a picnic in the sun. It somewhat reminds me of Taj Sunset or Rocking Rio by Escada, but not as overly fruity.

However, after a very short time, the fragrance on my skin becomes very, very subtle. It is noticeable that alongside the fruity notes, there are also floral ones, but I can't identify any specific flower. Even at this stage, the fragrance still smells very nice on my skin, but it is indeed very subtle, and after an hour, I can barely perceive it, even though I didn't spray sparingly. I also received feedback from my surroundings that, when asked, they could only faintly perceive the scent when smelling my hair directly. Well, it seems the picnic ended quickly. It's a pity, really. I had hoped to have a delicious fruity scent for the summer as a change from the more intense fragrances in my collection. I will definitely still use the fragrance from time to time, but I have to accept that I will need to reapply it throughout the day.

I usually like the Daisies, but this one smells uncomfortably synthetic and somewhat cheap floral-citrusy.

The Daisy bottles are better than their contents. Cute to look at. The scent... no surprise, a fruity floral something.

Beautiful floral-fresh scent with a light fruity note. Longevity is disappointing.
