Wait till the dry down!!!

I was so excited to buy this because I am collecting the fancy collection! I heard a previous review on YouTube saying it smelled like the younger version of the OG fancy and they weren’t lying! Now at first, I smelt the cyclamen and it was sort of off-putting to my nose. I was about to do away with this one but decided to give it a chance anyway as I love Jessica Simpson and her perfumes. Once it dried down it smelt like a much livelier and younger sister version of the OG fancy! After all, majority of the notes are very similar with just quite a few adjustments. It lasts a while too! I am in love!!! Now to revist fancy love and fancy forever and see if there was anything that I missed!!!

I wanted the nail polishes more than the perfume

A gift set of this with 3 sparkly nail polishes was on the clearance rack at Kohl's, so I tested it after checking the notes real quick online. The notes led me to believe that I'd like this, but there was some note in it that made my head twinge whenever I put my nose on my hand. No idea what that note is--maybe the pear? I don't do well with synthetic pear and melon notes. They give me an instant headache and make me nauseous. This didn't quite get me all the way to that point, but I could tell that it would never make it to my favored rotation list. Even though it was on clearance, and I had a coupon, this wouldn't have been a deal. I liked the bottle more than the perfume, for sure! And the nail polishes looked fun.

Not Of The Fancy Lines...

My initial reaction was that this is a fizzy floral, fresh and clean. It developed later into peppery overtones, still with the all inclusive floral scent. It's clean and fresh, almost waxy to me. I didn't get any of the fruits listed or the sandlewood, musk or vanilla. Fancy Girl doesn't remind me of Simpson's other "Fancy" line, Fancy, Fancy Love or Fancy Nights at all. This one seems to be going in a completely different direction, or at least that's how it reacts with my chemistry. It sits close to the skin and two sprays lasted three hours. Would be good for daytime spring and summer.

safe celebrity fragrance

The only flanker I liked out of Jessica Simpson's line was Fancy Love. Even so, it smells very similar to a Burberry flanker. The others didn't appeal to me.

I wasn't expecting much out of this latest release, but nonetheless I do find it to be a safe fragrance. It's not as flashy or fancy as the name suggests; it is a lightly sweet, fluffy vanilla kind of scent. Some may equate that as boring or generic; but I happen to like it at the moment. I find it easy to wear and great for spring. The floral notes are masked by the fruit. I smell lemon although it's not listed as a note. Longevity is fair; of course, it lingers best on clothes. Sillage is bad though as no one around me notices I wear it.
