"What smells so great here?"
After calling Incense Oud a "dress fragrance" in my last review, here is one that is perhaps less suitable for that, although I would categorize it as such - but more for the evening in a more private setting.
It's important to know that I've applied very little today - 1 spray under my shirt - and I walk into my office and the questioning voice: "What smells so great here? Oh you!" sums it up.
Why to the point? Because as an "everyday dress fragrance" it would be more of a distraction and not accompany the situation and, of course, Incense Oud may have these light oriental facets (please read the review) but it doesn't trump or stand out so much and better emphasizes a "dressy everyday situation".
By the way:
Compliments are of secondary importance for me with a fragrance, if at all, it is important to me that I like a fragrance and these "panty dropper" stories I don't know - I found it interesting that someone told me that I would probably want to stay single because I was wearing Sir Irish Moss, I also thought to myself "Okay..." - Anyway, I think a compliment is a nice addition but not necessarily more.
Now I'll describe Sex Appeal - I find the overall picture very interesting - it contains a certain light animalism that flirts softly and creamily, plus a powdery note that is thematized very interestingly in combination with spicy accords, light approaches with an oriental touch. Finally, woody and sweetish additions, without becoming too sweet, rather a sweet background (very discreet & yet perceptible).
It's less about a presumption of competence, but more about a kind of exciting fragrance that may arouse fascination - and yet remains "dressy".
Perhaps it also works on other occasions, it certainly doesn't come across as unpleasant and it can certainly be worn by one or two people in everyday life, especially where you already know each other better - but I would choose Incense Oud for appropriate (rather reserved) appointments.
I also notice that, in my opinion, it creates an approachability or an invitation.
Great value for money, you get a lot for little money and with the year 1976 you can definitely call it a classic!
Many thanks for reading!

An Erba Pura homage or independent?
Today I'm back from the "Easter review break"...
And with a fragrance that has raised questions about my statement, or rather to give it a little more clarity.
But I would like to start with a basic question and a brief digression...
