Cheap Hidden Gem!
Blind purchases. Sometimes experiences that make you feel as if you've just stepped into a fresh cowpat and reproach yourself for your own carelessness. And there are experiences like this!
In principle, woody-fresh sounded like a funny combination, but why not try something new.
No sooner said than done. I'm thrilled, on a scale of 1 to 10 at about 11. What comes out of the best spray head of all time (I've never really experienced anything as good as it) reminds me of Oud Wood, even if this woody beach dweller is more salty-floral due to the iris and less creamy. It also has something of Wood Infusion by G&B, but is not so sweet and fruity, but more elegant and masculine with perfumey-floral marine associations. Oud itself is only present with a lot of imagination, but doesn't really play a role.
Now for the next treat, it has an exceptionally good H/S, an aspect that otherwise regularly spoils good fragrances for me. And because that's not enough: it costs a ridiculous €18. I would spend three times as much, a great Cheapie, without annoying synthetic overtones.
Now for the less than ideal aspects. The bottle is brown, the color of which evokes associations in me that should not necessarily be explained in detail on this page. Let's leave it at that, even this glittering stone with its clitoral silliness should never have seen the light of day.
In fact, blind buy recommendation for all lumberjacks who like to spend a day by the sea.

Return to the living incense
Background: Perfumos send me samples, I then test the perfumes sent without any knowledge and describe my response - that of an inexperienced dilettante.
Imagine you are surrounded by incense. You have no chance of escaping its animalistic...

Chocolate fondue!
There are countless rose oud fragrances, but this one stands out. While other competitors generally follow the "sweet rose with shrill synthetics - oud" route, Onyx comes with a dark, juicy and fleshy rose plus fruity Thai oud at the beginning....
