For Rose Fans
Since rose and patchouli are among my absolute favorite fragrance notes, I had to test Patchouli & Fresh Rose.
The first (and unfortunately lasting) impression is a powerful, almost overwhelming rose note. Only very gradually does a hint of patchouli make its way through. I don't really smell any bergamot or mandarin.
The sillage is quite good after the piercing first impression has faded a bit. Noticeable, but not a torture for innocent bystanders.
I can't really assess the longevity due to an early removal caused by a full bath.
What I really like is the bottle - simple, with a retro touch.
All in all, it's not a bad fragrance. However, for my taste, it is neither sensual-earthy (patchouli) nor delicate and caressing (rose), but unfortunately just rather bland and insignificant. Not a perfume that stays in my fragrance memory.
