The drunken, loudly rumbling, very attractive sailor

When first sprayed on, Cabana is somewhat synthetic but above all very alcoholic. Overall, it is a tad sweeter and "louder" than "le Male". Although it is similar to it, I would still describe it as a fragrance in its own right. While "Le Male" has a clay note in the base, for me it is cinnamon in the Cabana (although the cinnamon note in the Cabana is labeled in the top note). The Cabana seems a little spicier and sweeter to me than the Le Male, but not as fine (tuned). If you like sweet and spicy fragrances, Cabana could definitely be something for you!

It's actually a very nice fragrance! The only thing that bothers me - apart from the only average durability - is the continuous "alcohol" note, which becomes weaker and weaker over time. As Cabana sails in a spicy-oriental direction, this sounds worse than it is meant to be. If you didn't know any better, you could also mistake this note for a cognac note of its own. The bottle is good and the sprayer is great - small amounts can be sprayed with little pressure on the spray head, which can be very advantageous with this fragrance.

The bottom line is that it is somewhat more alcoholic, spicier (cinnamon) and, at least at the beginning, somewhat "louder" than Le Male. In terms of longevity, it does not come close to Le Male in the long term. Overall, it is also less complex than Le Male. In terms of value for money, however, the Cabana is a 10/10.

I personally like it better than the "Infinite Navy" from Caline. The Cabana is more "independent" but in an interesting way. Try it out!
