From flop to top
Since I fell ill with coronavirus in the fall, things have been chaotic for me when it comes to fragrances. My sense of smell has suffered and many things that used to be my dream scent are unfortunately no longer. As long as they don't trigger migraines or nausea, they have to go in the cellar for now.
Last week, I tested the fragrance here from La Rive and wrote a review. But Look of Women didn't deserve that after all. At the second attempt, it made it into my collection as a new addition. I have no idea why the first test was so bad.
Visually, the baby pink bottle is a sister to NR, but that's about it for me in terms of similarity. As always, it starts with a classic hairspray scent and a hint of rubber. But as always with LR, only at the beginning. Then rose and peach. Floral and fruity - I have become cautious with musk, but here it is well dosed with amber. Together a little tart like Yves Rocher Thè Vert, which I still mourn. The finish is softer with sandalwood and patchouli.
Last week I smelled fabric softener, but no, it's greenish notes that dominate and only a little floral. I don't know if it was the tester, because this time I was in a different store. Now it went from a flop to a top, but I would definitely recommend testing it beforehand. You can't go wrong with it. Of course, it's not a firecracker that flies behind you like a flag and smothers the environment.

Ripe spring
Met a long-time friend in a drugstore the other day. We used to be colleagues, then we became long-distance neighbors. I was part of the children's clique with her husband. She's been a widow for three years because her husband is the face of one of the corona...

We become friends
Or rather, we already are. But the fragrance still hasn't found its way into my home.
I've had my eye on the fragrance for a while now, but always bad luck and no tester. Buying blind is not my thing. Today I met a good friend who bought the fragrance...
