The main character of rose gourmands

I’m sorry, but no one, and I mean no one is touching Ms. Parfait de Roses. She is the QUEEN MOTHER, the of rose gourmand fragrances, and Maison Lancôme absolutely nailed it when they crafted her.

Every single one of the above comparisons are total rubbish. Rose Rouge and Manakara are more fruity than they are gourmand, Roses Vanille Eau de Parfum is not *nearly* as refined and has quite a synthetic undertone, and "Le Vestiaire - Blouse | Yves Saint Laurent" is a musky rose that’s totally void of deliciousness and indulgence. And while these scents are all great in their own ways, none of them will EVER truly be able to match Parfait de Roses.

PdF truly embodies and captures all the essence of a powdery, PINK rose in its most edible state, like a soft Turkish delight, a decadent rosewater cake, or sugary rose macarons. The rose liqueur adds a hint of booziness that helps to balance the rather intense creaminess of this scent. It’s truly luxurious and arguably, one of the best scents to ever come out of Lancôme’s legacy in the fragrance industry. She’s not just a scent, she’s an experience. And one that I wish everyone could have in their fragrance journey. Whether you end up hating it, liking it, or falling deeply in love with it, at least you can say you crossed her path.

I was blessed enough to get a bottle from a European seller (based in London) and one of my absolute best friends was able to hand deliver it over to me in NYC some years back. I had the opportunity to get my hands on this and Iris Dragées (my other fav from Maison Lancôme), and I will cherish these bottles forever. My forever love, my rose heartbeat, my floral-gourmand masterpiece.
