A twist on Tobacco Vanille
This fragrance arrived at my place today, I managed to test it thoroughly while being out and smelled both the opening and the drydown.

I can tell straight from the beginning that this fragrance is inspired by Tobacco Vanille, I don't get any resemblance to Noir Extreme, it is a BIT similar to Oajan because Al Awsaaf has a stronger dose of Cinnamon compared to the OG and it is a tad less sweet.

Performance seems good to my nose, could smell it still after a shower around 6 hours and half in, so I guess it's a decent performer.

If you like Tobacco Vanille or Oajan it's a safe buy, it is indeed pleasant, people around me liked it a lot.

I'd give it a 8/10 just because I already own other TV inspired by and didn't need another one, I came with different expectations reading the reviews on the net.

Indescribable price-performance ratio
When I was in Berlin for a few days last year, I absolutely had to visit one of these stores that sell oriental fragrances, among other things. I had already informed myself in advance about the huge range on offer on their webshop and was then able to test the most appealing creations on site. Many perfumes more or less fell through the cracks, but Al Awsaaf (translated: The Descriptions) absolutely won me over with the bottle, the fragrance, the Lattafa brand and also the price
In the end, I couldn't resist at €9.90. Even with prices on the internet between €10 and €30, you can't go far wrong
Since there are currently no notes listed here, I'll just make up for it so that you at least have a little orientation:
Top notes: Pink pepper, violet, elemi
Middle notes: Spices, tonka bean, myrrh, cedarwood.
Base notes: patchouli, oud, musk, oakmoss.

The result is a truly wonderful oriental eau de parfum with resinous and spicy elements in first-class quality. The fragrance also alternates between a little honey, dried fruit and vanilla or tonka bean notes as well as a little cinnamon. Sometimes I think I can sniff out a little cola with a mini shot of brandy. Without amber, it still exudes warmth and coziness and is by no means unspeakably sweet.

Above all, I like its complex character and noble aura. It doesn't smell cheap at all. On the contrary: you would appreciate it many times over. That's why I have no qualms about giving it 10 points for value for money and an absolute recommendation if you like oriental fragrances.

Spicebomb Extreme / Tobacco Vanilla Light
First of all, thanks to my old Parfumo colleague "DrDorian" who recommended this fragrance to me.
I always refused to buy or test the fragrance because I heard it was very similar to "Wafa | Ard Al Zaafaran / ارض الزعفران التجارية" And I didn't get along with the Wafa at all.
Fortunately, it doesn't smell a bit like Wafa.

Instead, Awsaaf reminds me of Spicebomb Extreme, Tobacco Vanille Eau de Parfum and also very slightly of something like Herod.
It is not a dupe of these fragrances, but you could say that it was inspired by one or two of them.

Aswaan starts off quite alcoholic, but for the small price of €11.99 it is completely normal.
The quality in the opening is really not the best, but you shouldn't let that put you off.
Just don't sniff where you have just sprayed for the first 1-2 minutes.
It somehow smells completely different in the air anyway.
Up close, I immediately notice elemi resin and pepper in a pleasant sweetness.
But in the air it smells like vanilla and cinnamon to me, strange.

Later in the DD it becomes spicy, but the sweetness remains.
Tonka bean and myrrh are noticeable.
I only really notice all of this when I smell it close to my top.
Otherwise, I smell a mix of Spicebomb Extreme and Tobacco Vanilla.
Just not quite as spicy and not quite as sweet.
Almost like a Spicebomb Extreme / Tobacco Vanille light.

Towards the end, the fragrance becomes increasingly resinous, but as I said, I don't notice much of it in the air.
In the air, I am simply enveloped in a very creamy, sweet cinnamon-vanilla cloud with a touch of cola and honey.

Unfortunately, the performance is not the best.
It lags far behind its role models.
Sillage and longevity both nevertheless good mediocrity I would say.
Slightly weaker than most of the Lattafas I have tested, but for the low price you have to make compromises somewhere.

The perfume smells unisex to me, even though it's supposed to be a men's fragrance.

My conclusion: Awsaaf is one of the best fragrances up to 15 €.
I am very happy to have given it a chance.
And can only recommend it.
You definitely get much more than what you pay for.

Not one or the other, but exactly in between
Quite a cryptic title, isn't it? But I'll try to decipher the title as I go along.
I stumbled across this fragrance rather by chance, read a few reviews and was grateful that there was / is an offer in the souk. What I have learned in the meantime is to leave samples from the post at room temperature for a few hours and not to apply them full of anticipation. Towards the evening I was supposed to go out and I thought I could test it now.
After spraying it on, I immediately smelled a spicy, slightly hot note (red pepper) in the opening, which is not dominant and is accompanied by a sweetness. This mix of spice and sweetness remains balanced the whole time and stays with you for several hours. Due to the tonka bean, a subtle vanilla scent can also be detected from time to time.
The interplay of the components is really great, lingers for a long time but is by no means intrusive.
Now we come to my title. I am referring here to two other fragrances, namely Tom Ford Noir Extreme and Spicebomb Extreme. For me, both go in the same direction as the Al Awsaaf, with the difference that the Tom Ford is sweeter and the Spicebomb delivers a dominant spiciness throughout. For me, the Al Awsaaf is right in between and that's why I like it best. With shipping, you can currently get 100ml of the perfume from Lattafa for €16.49. If you like the fragrances I mentioned, you should definitely take a look here.
I am absolutely happy with my choice.

Once again a P/L cracker
Lattafa has once again managed to convince me with the Al Awsaaf. Lattafa has once again pulled out all the stops here, especially for the price. An oriental sweet, resinous fragrance with a great spiciness and a fine tobacco note
For me, the fragrance starts off spicy and sweet. The resinous impact is also immediately recognizable to me. I actually think I can definitely detect some honey here. It seems to me like a totally fine honey sweetness. Not mega sticky and extreme, but easily perceptible and yet subtle.
The spicy impression probably comes from the elemi resin and the very gentle use of pepper.

Over time, the tonka bean is added and it generally smells like a great mix of so many different accords and impressions. I even had the impression of perceiving a very soft rose, which for me was a nice addition to the superficially sweet and resinous scent.
Towards the end, there is also a very slightly earthy patchouli note.

All in all, a great fragrance with several facets.
Lattafa is simply super.

A delightful fragrance. Although I don't personally find any resemblance to SB Extreme or TF Extreme.
