For the followers of ATH...

I can confess that I am a Unicorn. I have most of ATH's perfumes and have followed his work from the start.

I received a sample of Unicorn Extrait de Parfum with a purchase of Boss Bitch which I like very much. I am definitely going to get a bottle of Unicorn and the Unicorn Elixir.

Now, I know very well that ATH was hugely influenced by Tom Ford's fragrances. Particularly Black Orchid. This smells nothing like Black Orchid but does remind me a little of Oud Wood. Before you jump down my throat, I love Oud Wood when it was first released but now it is nothing like it used to be. This smells nicer and lasts far longer. Unicorn is different and unique in it's own way.

The scent is woody, spicy and slightly fruity. It's very masculine, not very unisex in my opinion. Unicorn is a night out perfume not a day scent. This blossoms in cold weather. Sillage is good, projection good and longevity is good. Not excellent like many of ATH's fragrances.

I keep sniffing myself and my girlfriend loves it, so that's enough for me. Definitely worth the money due to the high concentration of quality ingredients.

Expensive but really good experience

We're going to talk about one of Aron's masterpieces, because he's one of the edition golds.

For me, this is a spicy oriental fragrance. Basically, it's a fragrance with a predominance of saffron, everything revolves around it and it's going to be accompanied by clove and cardamom very quickly.

When I spray it directly, it's an explosion of saffron, clove, incense, patchouli... all at once, and I think the raspberry was added to sweeten things up, otherwise it would be too much, a bit like Louis Vuitton's Ombre Nomade or Akro's East.

For me, it's clearly a magnificent perfume that I really like, even though I'm not normally the type to wear perfumes that are too spicy, so my hat's off to you.
But I can't understand the points of comparison made between Oud for Greatness and Haltane.

Masterpiece

So, lets break this masterpiece down for you!

The Smell: It smells like it has the DNA of Oud Wood, and Haltane tbh, and that is defenetly not bad in any way. When you spray this, you instantly get the saffron blast, and that makes it comparable with PDM Haltane. But the dry down is more leaning towards the Tom Ford Oud Wood DNA, its really interesting. Personally i love this kind of dna, so it is a big W for me. It lingers in the air and radiates beautifully from my skin.

Performance: It has great performance. I get alteast 11h-12h longevity with this, like his other fragrances. It becomes more of a skin scent into that 8h territory, but its a strong skin scent. Personally i dont want this kind of DNA to be that strong, so you kinda get a 2 for 1 experience with this frag.

Conclusion: Overall a 10/10 fragrance with very good performance and comforting smell. I will only use this for special occasion like New Years eve. Go light on the trigger bcs this is strong, and if you love the Oud Wood/Haltane dna, you will defenetly love this. I think its worth every penny and it is truly a hidden gem. Gatekeep the shit out of this btw. Truly a masterpiece.

ATH ATH ATH…..

The industry either seems to love it or hate it, there’s no the contrast of popular belief, just, black and grey weather you’re on the new Gen side of it or rather the snobby artisanal side of the spectrum of opinion on the house, Unicorn marks a statement. Being a middle age man with an open diverse acceptance approach to life in general yet grounded in taste, class & quality of material overall, Unicorn is such a beautifully well blended concoction of juice! The choice of notes here and skillful proportions of ratios make this frag an addictive frequent visit.
It’s the only frag from the house I’ve had experience with as the candy kid scents aren’t my thing so I was a bit reluctant on dropping the price tag on it but glad I did.

A Masterpiece

This to my nose is a masterpiece. I can immediately smell the clove, cinnamon and Oud notes right off the rip and the quality of the ingredients used are top notch. I have 8 ATH fragrances and this is my 2nd favorite behind Hard Candy Elixir. The only reason it isn't number 1 is versatility. This is suitable for wear on cool evenings or at formal events but man will this get you noticed. I keep sniffing my wrist with this one. Also beastly performance.
