Unfortunately too "bulky" for me

Again, I would like to thank Nick for bottling Patchouli :-) Unfortunately, this fragrance is much too earthy for me in the end...When patchouli really comes into its own, I'm usually out of it...The durability is really good with 8 to 9 hours and the sillage is also okay so far.

The top note starts directly with the full broadside of patchouli. It smells of damp earth, rotten wood and something resinous. The heart note smells darkly of Peru balsam. It therefore also smells a little honey-sweet, vanilla-like and bitter. The base smells totally of patchouli again with woody, earthy, rooty and balsamic notes.

Unfortunately, this fragrance is not my cup of tea. But patchouli lovers could definitely get their money's worth here :-)

very close to the earth spirits

Patchouli" appears from the very first moment like heavy damp earth that smells of fertility and dark secrets of nature, freshly broken open by machine or hand.
Nothing is further away from the glitter of the jewellery "Les Ecuadors", which is the home of this original, monothematic fragrance giant in Brussels.
The homepage of this company once again awakens the "magpie" in me - thousands of facets shine and spray sparks in the cleverly used light.
Visible and tangible so glittering and glamorous yet full of so many original secrets.
Jewellery that invites you to browse and decorate and fragrances in simple yet very impressive flacons.
How do I get all this into my magpie's nest?

If you now open this unadorned piece of jewellery, which contains "patchouli", this earthy-dark aroma will flow out. It invites you to sink your hands deep into the loosened soil and dig into it; even at the risk of hitting an earthworm.
Pure sensuality emerges from this fragrance, which reminds me again and again - I already mentioned it elsewhere - of smoothly polished, shining tiger's eye; this rich brown gemstone, which is so beautifully veined golden and light brown: dark brown velvet, interspersed with gold threads.
The rich and immediate patchouli flow is enriched with Peru balsam.
This aromatic, vanilla-like fragrance with a slightly bitter note is obtained in a way that does not seem quite appetizing.
The fact that cloths that catch the secretions of the "injured" balsam tree are finally boiled out in order to obtain this fragrance is not exactly the most delicious idea.
But here the light balsamic note reminiscent of warming erotic vanilla is combined with the dark sensual patchouli in an almost intoxicating way The slightly stubborn spice of the Mediterranean cistus, which is always a bit crumpled and herbaceous and contains many healing powers, is exactly the fragrance that this original creation needs to appear round and self-contained.
"Patchouli" rests in itself and thus seduces unspectacularly and quietly; but very persistent.

"Patchouli" by Les Eduadors is not an underground cave, not a damp forest floor that springs under your feet. "Patchouli" is a strong personality that is neither reminiscent of incense nor of "Third World Shops" or other esoterics.
"Patchouli" was apparently created by earth spirits in a very special moment (perhaps at nights of the new moon?).
Who listens attentively to this scent and surrenders to it for a few hours, can possibly even feel the presence of these beings.
Or follow the fragrant tracks of their big bare feet: they lead into the mysterious land of "Patchouli"!
