I really wanted to like this fragrance. Something about it is just... off
It saddens me greatly to have to write so negatively about Feminin Pluriel. I wanted, so badly, to enjoy this fragrance. At first I had stayed it on a blotter, and then in the air. Both times I found the scent to be alluring, sweet and feminine. Flirty and dirty in the jasmine notes, yet comforting in the Iris and violet i decided to trial it on my skin. Fresh out the shower, I applied it liberally to my neck, the crook of my elbows, and a spritz on my breasts for good measure. I cloaked myself in clothes (a t-shirt and an overcoat) and went for my Saturday walk.

It's very early spring here, so this may have impacted the sillage. My skin felt very cold against the air and this may have dampened the ability for my body warmth to project the fragrance. I couldn't smell a thing through my coat to the point where in the duration of my walk (about 3 hours) I forgot that i was wearing any perfume at all. When I got home however, as soon as I took off my coat I was HIT with a cloud of slightly metallic vetiver and sharp patchouli mixed with a warming iris and violet; strangely it was giving me very masculine vibes but the projection from my warmed body after a long walk was killer. For that reason I wish I loved it more. There are elements of this fragrance that are sensual and classy in equal measure. There is, however, a dank manliness akin to a cheap but clean smelling masculine aftershave. This might just be me and my nose, so I implore you all to get a sample. Boy am i glad i did just that because I have found (with me) that I love the scent of all of MFKs creations (save for 3 that i hate) when sprayed on blotters or in the air, however only 3 out of the 12 I have samples of actually agree with my skin. The three that agree with me just happen to be the most expensive. Funny how that works out.

Elegant
I didn't like the perfume for the first few days. I like loud complicated smells, especially since my skin eats them up, but then I sprayed it on a jacket and he got to me.
This fragrance is not meant to be loud, it is a bit of art worn by a woman who is content with her life. She has already seduced someone, fallen in love, has her life together. She's on a date with her partner, she's wearing her favorite Chanel bag and feminine Pluriel is her jewelry.
Her partner knows her well, she is the right one for him. She is sometimes passionate, but not now, today she is just feminine and he feels at home around her. He gave her a bouquet of her favorite flowers earlier in the day and this reminded her to wear this particular perfume. It's not loud, it's the simplicity of maturity when you have nothing else to prove.
They are happy and keep to themselves. This love lasts, the perfume not necessarily, but they do not need that today.
On clothing, depending on the fabric, a good week, otherwise abt 2-4 hours as a skinscent, but ofc, it all depends on skin chemistry. It's good for women who love the French style but get a headache from loud perfumes and for women who like me seem to be able to wear any mfk, loud or not.
I find the price a bit much for what it is, but its ok when theres a sale.

Enchanting!
Maison Francis Kurkjian: FEMININ PLURIEL

This is just downright lovely on me! I turned my head slightly just after spritzing because the scent wafting from my wrists was so alluring. A decidedly rare, unusually clean and delicate floral chypre as it reads on my skin. Every single note sings out distinct and pure in this composition, every single note takes a wonderfully positive turn on my skin, and yet, every note is masterfully woven together in a seamless silken blend that is altogether more than the sum of its parts, and an ultra-feminine joy to experience for me.

Clean and clear the orange blossom, non-indolic jasmine, and startlingly intense, fresh-green un-wax-like lily of the valley florals herald the joyous opening here with no overdone soap or cleaning products evident. A cool and soil damp regal Iris emerges full force with a delightful shower of non-candied violet petals, swirled through with a crisply moist, just picked Rose de Grasse; the whole composition being impeccably balanced, and absent the overdone carroty powder bomb side effect.

The patchouli support here is immaculately vegetal and restrained, adding depth with no tinge of musty-dusty offensive decompositional odor. The vetiver is wonderfully blended so as to bolster things with a hint of the most delicate citric-spicy-woodiness, and cool earthy support. The balance between the vetiver and the patchouli is just flawless in enhancing the refined sensuality of the whole without overwhelming it.

The entire scent make me think of strolling through an enchanted fairy forest at dusk with all sorts of little magical creatures glimmering in the shadow.

I find that Maison Francis Kurkjian is growing to be my favorite house. So far, I absolutely love everything he has done. Notes that I ordinarily dislike in other perfumes, I find to be clearly present, and yet not only completely inoffensive, but marvelously realized by an astonishingly skillful blending of exceptionally high quality basic ingredients.

I’m definitely getting a full bottle of this one, and the scented cream as well.

Try, try, try agian.
I decided to try this one again as reviews from around the internet differ wildly and my experience seemed way out of step with most of them.

I've only tried the 2025 version so don't know whether or not there have been any little tweaks here and there.

I applied a little more than I would typically from my two milliliter sample spray; four on each forearm, four around the neck, just to get a feeling of wearing this as my scent for the day.

The opening I can smell well for, perhaps, half an hour by which point it is a skin scent. It seems to last a goodly while as a soft skin scent.

The first 20 minutes or so I get a fruity type of smell, at one point smelling like tinned pears in fruit juice, along with a general perfumey smell. No flowers, vetivert, patchouli, dusty powder, in fact nothing much of anything. Maybe a bit of musk.

But what I do get is a slight sour lemon disinfectant note that repeatedly wafts up to my nose for a good five or six hours but with my skin smelling like I had a bath earlier in the day with a perfumed soap (about that strength of smell).

Despite the amount I put on I don't feel like I have put on a lot which is quite unlike the Fiori di Captri I tested out where despite not smelling much I felt saturated in perfume.

The smell of this on my clothing isn't all that different to that on my skin, a softly fruity scent rather than a floral so I think that's just how I smell this one rather than my skin doing odd things.

A bit underwhelming for me. If 5th Avenue were an 8 strength this would be a two and likewise for complexity.

But that's just me. Worth a test I think for a non-obnoxious option -but I could be wrong as I have seen reviews saying this is very long lasting with a strong sillage. Perhaps there are some aromachemicals that I don't smell all that well, or my own smell cancels out some of them (like my mum's skin cancelled out the musk chemicals I bought to try - we could smell them on me but smelt nothing on mum).

Fallen hard for this one!
To preface, I abhor BR 540 with a passion. It makes me gag. Because of this, I was leery trying anything else by MFK. So to be fair, I gave some others a chance. I tried Amyris Femme and 724 and couldn't shake the shadow of BR lurking around them. Finally, a decant of Feminin Pluriel arrives, and I'm wondering if that dreaded BR will show up again. Well, surprise! I'm instantly in love! Obsessed, even. I'm shocked. I rarely fall head over heels for a scent, and I have fallen hard for it. It's fresh, floral, dewy, juicy, and beautifully powdery - all harmoniously blended. It truly lives up to its name in making me feel feminine and beautiful. It paints the picture of a young woman in a white linen dress among a field of wildflowers in spring. I can't stop sniffing it!

Note: My review is for the OG pink one, not the current, reformulated version with the yellow juice.

Strong floral top and middle, which then flows seamlessly into a vetiver and patchouli end. Smells expensive (it is) and grown-up. Ladylike!

Common, bordering to generic and yet so lovely. Fresh-fruity shot of rose paired with iris and a light patch. Definite yes

Pretty, floral, fluffy, powdery-rosy scent. Very appropriate and inoffensive. Quite linear, too little depth and dimension. For young ladies

Sour lemonfloral, fresh like disinfectant. Harsh, soapy Lilyofthevalley. Vague whitewoods. Skin scent in an hour. Not for my chemistry.
