The beauty of endless desert landscapes in a bottle I A fragrance for desert nomads

unfortunately, Ombre Nomade is increasingly being labeled as an "NPC fragrance". Often copied, often worn - accordingly not good enough for many. For me personally, Ombre Nomade is an oriental masterpiece; and one of the first fragrances that made it into the masses with this oriental character and familiarized the masses with the difficult "oud theme", thus paving the way for many predecessors and successors.

...but now to the fragrance itself and why I think it's great:

- The fragrance captures the concept of the Orient extremely well; I personally always think of a desert nomad crossing the arid desert landscapes, crossing the dunes under blazing heat and scarcity of water, making his way through the extremes of a Sahara, for example, and warming himself by the campfire at night under a starry sky.

- This is exactly what the fragrance smells like; a woody, dry scent based on an oud note and a minimal, light fruitiness from the raspberry. The oriental character is enhanced by the non-churchy incense; however, the woody accords and the oud actually dominate throughout.

- the performance has unfortunately diminished a little with the last batches; earlier batches were extremely powerful, but I would still classify the fragrance in the upper segment, projection and sillage are still top here!
Even if opinions are divided and you have to respect each one, this fragrance remains an oriental firecracker for me; it is not for nothing that the fragrance is copied so often and unfortunately no other fragrance really manages to come close to its DNA and performance.

...and don't forget the simple economic concept: only what has proven successful on the market and has a corresponding demand at a high (luxury) level is imitated.
