Bad marketing at it's best...
Without much ado: It is absolutely mysterious to me why currently only 27 Parfumo members own this perfume.
I have just for direct comparison Tom Ford - Tuscan Leather on hand.
Compared to this much better known perfume (because available, *cough*), it is immediately noticeable that the L.V. (almost) completely lacks the distinct tobacco note of cigar smoke. The comparison of the contained leather notes turns out similar, in the Tom Ford it is dark, strong and clearly animalistic. The L.V. is more reserved (please don't misunderstand, the L.V. is clearly not a silent treader either), even combines something slightly floral and powdery to the overall also present performance. Also the very green, unripe raspberry of the T.F. opponent is reflected in the L.V. more easily, "more friendly".
If one now pulls the evaluations of the Zum Ford perfume to it the following picture results for me:
Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather is already selling very well, but is still too extreme, loud, rough and not very applicable for many noses. In my opinion the L.V. offers a solution for all these objections: It is wearable for more occasions, clearly more socially acceptable, but does not lose any of its self-confident charisma.
At this point I am now back to my opener:
I admit it's expensive. However, the ml prices are average compared to the competition, and for perfumo relations even rather cheap. In this context we already come to the first problem: L.V. only sells 100ml bottles, 50ml bottles are much more attractive for most people. (If someone has a statistic for me that supports this (e.g. evaluation of Tom Ford sales per perfume, proportionally converted to the bottle sizes), I'd be happy to give it to you)
In addition, I also have the dull feeling that L.V. would prefer not to offer this perfume in Germany. My sample comes from the L.V. Flagship Store in New York, where I (20 years old) and my colleague (19 years old) were willingly given large samples of all perfumes. Of course this is common in all stores in the USA and a consequence of the different attitude of our friends behind the pond (a trip to the Tom Ford Flagship Store gave us three 8ml samples plus lots of pre-filled bottles), but L.V. at least provided availability in some malls or stores outside of L.V.
So far I have only seen this perfume once in Germany, namely at the KaDeWe Berlin. Of course, there was no sample, smelling the bottle was just fine, but applying a sample was already a real challenge.
Overall, Ombre Nomade remains so clearly below its potential, for L.V. spoken in terms of sales and profit, from our point of view spoken in terms of recognition and enjoyment of this great perfume.
There is no reason to criticise the usual quality characteristics: Flacon top, Village tidy, durability as well (10 hours in any case).

So in conclusion I can only say: If you see a bottle standing in the local L.V. store, take the chance. Anyone who found this site and, to top it all, read my entire text (respect, I'm surprised myself how unstructured my artwork has become) will most likely like this perfume.

I don't know what to say...
For me it is one of the best fragrances of recent years.

So ready :D

Well ok, I'll write a little more.

Ombre Nomade. Was long time a fragrance I because of the too high prices (that I think by the way still, although I love him, but more than 2.50 € for the ml should but actually no perfume may cost, for me personally)

But how did I now but to the fragrance?

I had a sharing with "On The Beach | Louis Vuitton" and have thought I choose ON as a free sample. Both came naturally, and a few days later I tried the sample.

What struck me first was the strength, so no kidding I think it's one of the strongest scents I have, maybe Grand Soir is similarly potent in the opening. But the durability of ON is on me, however, longer.

It's nice and fruity and dry in the opening. i think i get some rose too, but it's not a classic rose oud combo. It's much deeper than that. It's masculine, brash, showy, it's a confidence booster.
The opening is at least a 9

The first time I wore it, I have to say that it was slightly stale. But that went away more and more. Until it disappeared completely at some point.

What I like most is this dry, smoky and at the same time fruity, sexy, oud and leather combo.

I smell the raspberry more and more later on, it becomes more fruity for me.
Would I with a 8,5 Bewerten

In the drydown I get then again more smoke and oud, the fruit disappears and in the drydown he is also the least unisex, rather masculine.
Also again a 9 in the drydown.

How he arrives I could already experience a few times, he came with men always excellent, he triggered each time even something fascination, how strong he was without becoming penetrating. He actually pleased everyone.

Even FFP2 masks don't itch ON.

With women, I could not test him unfortunately yet.

As a conclusion for me, after my 10ml filling of the dear Raz emptied very quickly, and one rather wins the lottery than to get hold of a restflakon in the souk, I have ordered a 100ml flakon at LV. Yes he is as good as many say, evtl even a little better.

I could not start with many fruit, leather, oud scents much Tuscan Leather Eau de Parfum Godolphin but this one hit directly in the black, it sounds really a bit cheesy but the perfume is really this bad boy, the black sheep of the family. He falls on no matter where you are, and that's good :D

Wear can actually everyone who would like to stand out, I like this kind of hopefully ;) always positive provocation on my fellow men.

I would not wear him but at an office job, in midsummer also not and for the gym I prefer to take something fresh.
Otherwise, take it whenever you feel like it.

But just no blind buy, rather sign up for one of the 15 active ON sharings :D and get some ml beforehand.
Thanks for reading

LG Deniz

Icon or imitator?
Persons from my closer environment would title me, my fragrance preferences concerning, as a "performance junkie". And not without reason.

I have been interested in fragrances since 2018/2019. Often I was on Parfumo to research various facts and information. However, it did not come to a registration (until recently).
Like many others, it was the standard designers that impressed me in the beginning. Versace, Chanel and Montblanc quickly found their way into my wardrobe. The motto was: Sporty and fresh.

Through several mentions in various hip-hop tracks I became aware of Tom Ford. So I made my way to the nearest perfumery and began to test.
Tom Ford's "Oud Wood" was an olfactory-incisive experience for me. This fragrance opened up a whole new and previously unknown spectrum of smells for me.
Quickly "Oud Wood" was represented in my small collection. From that moment on, my taste evolved more and more towards an oriental, woody and darker direction. Pandora's box was opened.
A little later, the, now unfortunately discontinued, "Tobacco Oud", formed the centerpiece of my collection. The strong and almost aggressive smell fascinated me enormously.

Back to the future: February 2021.
Simultaneously with a friend I registered on Parfumo. The fascination that extremely strong fragrances exerted on me has not disappeared. No quite the opposite.
Always on the search for the (for me) "perfect" fragrance, I came across "Ombre Nomade". Quickly, a sample (thanks to Memento20) was on its way to me. Three days later, I held a pocket diffuser containing five milliliters of Ombre Nomade in my hands. With this introduction, I wanted to describe my motivations, for the following review below.

Here begins the actual review:

Although there is no trace of a rose in the official fragrance notes, ON opens with a prominent rose note. A pungent but at the same time soft pungency makes itself felt. This not only sounds paradoxical, but also smells like it. The more time passes, the more the oud gains presence. This is a slightly animalic and leathery oud. Like isolated clearings, in an otherwise pitch-black forest, the raspberry note makes itself felt. As it progresses, ON loses its sharpness and becomes increasingly creamy. This is due to the contained benzoeharz.
Abstractly, I would describe the fragrance as incredibly dark and extremely masculine. He is loud, striking and certainly not suitable for the masses. He sticks out, proves character and literally screams for attention.

Critical voices complain about the lack of originality. Often "Tuscan Leather", "Oud Ispahan" or "Portrait of a Lady" are used as a reference. In my opinion, Ombre Nomade combines all the strengths of these three fragrances. It's not as pungently clear as Tuscan Leather, leatherier and (to me) more beautifully constructed than Oud Ispahan, and not as rose-dominant as Portrait of a Lady.
Overall, it's fair to say that he's not reinventing the wheel. Rather, he takes it to a new level.

Finally, I'd like to turn my attention to performance. The durability is a clear ten. On the skin, it lasts twelve hours with no problem. On the clothes for days.
I would rate the sillage and projection a nine and a half. He is definitely room-filling and extremely strong perceptible.

Conclusion:
This is a masterpiece from the house of Louis Vuitton. Jacques Cavallier-Belletrud's creation convinces not only with sheer dominance what H / S concerns, but just as with its refined fragrance image.
I look forward to Ombre Nomade hopefully soon in my collection to welcome!

Is the hype justified?
Yes, I also wanted to test this "Parföng" because of this video of the well known streamer. It must be something special
So I choked on a few ml and tried it on yesterday. It was clearly too daring for my work (phew, right decision), because the radiance of the perfume is perverse. Not in the negative sense, pervertedly violent simply related to H/S. One sprayer and I have the feeling, everyone in my state smells me. Whether this is advantageous or not, everyone has to decide for himself on the occasion. For everyone else: Careful, and I mean careful dosing!

The scent immediately suggests oud. Cleanly balanced but clearly oud-laden. The raspberry is definitely not a sweet raspberry, it's more of a blackberry or currant to me at some distance, but the perfectly balanced oud-incense mix is very dominant. The whole thing is pleasantly tart.

For me finally an oud smell, which I do not associate with old gentlemen.

Whether the "Parföng" is really the non-plus-ultra, as the said video suggests?
Not for me. I have fragrances that I find much better, but I am not a big oud fan either. In terms of quality, this fragrance is of course the very first cream, you notice that immediately. So for oud fans I can only warmly recommend Ombre Nomade.

By the way, I find the "Parföng" absolutely not suitable for unisex use. For me it radiates a cold, sublime, slightly arrogant, powerful masculinity.

Conclusion: I definitely won't buy with the bottle, but I will take the sample out in the right situations and wear it with pleasure

Would Sebastian have guessed that the hit of his dear princes would be used for a perfume commentary? I don't think so, yet the reference is more appropriate than ever! I'm just about to test my way through the Louis Vuitton fragrance collection and was really excited at first! Especially "Sur la Route" is for me a novelty on the perfume market, a rarity and simply something new (fresh leather and stuff!). Well, afterwards I tested "Orage", "Au Hazard" and now also "Ombre Nomade". This comment is intended to apply to the latter fragrance, while what has been said is also to apply to the other two fragrances - at least as far as the quintessence is concerned.

Yesterday morning - it was 06.30h - I solemnly let the nomad loose on my neck area. I already knew in advance that it should strongly resemble some of the fragrances that I know very well, but I never expected it to do so to this extent. Well, it begins in the top note with an extremely present, slightly sweet, slightly smoky (little) and especially leathery raspberry. We all know that, don't we? Of course, his two most prominent fragrance twins were immediately confirmed:

- Rasasi - La Yuqawam
- Tom Ford - Tuscan Leather
(I can't find Den Noir de Noir properly)

It would be unfair to say that it smells COMPLETELY the same, but a layman would never be able to tell the difference because it is in MINIDETAIL. I think the Ombre Nomade is tamer and more suitable for everyday life than the other two, especially than the Rasasi. It lacks the smoky component in almost the entire fragrance, it is only subliminally present, which I find good in principle. Otherwise the sweet chords were not mixed properly, he is just too sweet! The raspberry remains present throughout the fragrance and loses its sweetness only after hours. Overall, it is therefore rather fruity (sweet) and leathery. I'd want to take the smoky part away from him as the main ingredient. But otherwise nothing new is created here, it is disappointing that for this price you only get a slightly modified copy, as with many other fragrances of the brand. At this point, I think one is very much advised to consume the two fragrance twins, especially since the Tuscan Leather is also quite suitable for everyday use. The La Yaqawam is more for those who want a good smoke
Concerning the durability and the Sillage he is in no way inferior to his two twins. As I said, it was applied at 06:30h and in the evening at 18h my girlfriend could still see it well. The reactions of my students also testify that he radiates well :D

Conclusion:

Pro: potent raspberry, good shelf life and sillage, suitable for everyday use, unisex

Against: Much too sweet, just a copy, nothing new, not well balanced (sweet/leather/smoking/fruit), much too expensive

What do you think of this one?
