Westernized Rose/Raspberry/Oud

I blind bought Ombré Nomade because I was too lazy to visit my Louis Vuitton boutique.

This is a mild mannered rose/raspberry with a tad of oud. It smells so fresh and uplifting. The oud is in the background as a supporting note. Nothing more nothing less. Some have stated this smells like a barnyard. I have to strongly disagree. The oud is very clean and faint. Some may argue there’s no oud in it but if you dig your nose deep into the fragrance, you can detect it.

For assessment purposes, I have The Moon by Frederic Malle on my other hand because I was afraid Ombré Nomade was a dupe. It is not. The Moon is a true strong prevalent raspberry/oud that is Middle Eastern whereas Ombré Nomade is mass appealing and westernized.

All in all, I love it and will be wearing this as a daily driver.

OMBRE NOMADE

Ombre Nomade opens tempered by a spicy and leathery Saffron of the highest quality, blending in an exquisite way with a very masculine rosy floral mix composed of Geranium and an impressive and opulent Organic Dark Rose, Super Photorealistic... SENSATIONAL!!!
The amber here does not have an extravagant sweetness but sweetness with an almost bittersweet spiciness, which differentiates it.
The slightly sweet part is more highlighted by the Raspberry that bridging the warm spicy balsamic sweetness of Benzoin at its base harmoniously balances the composition.
The absurd high quality of the raw materials used in the ingredients of this fragrance is clearly perceived very early on, only very high quality materials were used here, giving a very high resolution/definition of the notes and chords.

We then follow with the emergence of a mouth-watering Raspberry that adding to the Rose form a delicious red fruit accord. Soon begins to arrive, a spectacular smoky mist incensed dark from incandescent bakhoor's of Frankincense and another with abundant splinters of a woody 'Oud smoky incensed [without animalic facets or corral] burning next to it and transporting you immediately to the interior of a Bedouin tent in the heart of the desert. Birch adds more dark and warm smoke to intensify the dark character of the fragrance. As for some comparisons with Tuscan Leather(TF); Ombre Nomade is built with much more refinement is another shelf, another category, much more elegant, exquisite, luxurious. And all this with an impressive Long-Lived and Bombastic performance!

Masterpiece Rose-Oud Elegance

As soon as you pull the trigger, you're hit with this masterfully blended rose-oud combo enriched with subtle fruity, smoky, leathery notes that ooze elegance, richness, sophistication, and a powerful dark allure!

The classic ambery rose and oud combo are the stars here and are supported by a cast of supporting notes. The rose is sweet without being too jammy, and the oud is extremely wearable, slightly animalic, and without fecal elements.

The realistic raspberry notes add a subtle fruity sweetness, while the saffron increments elements of spice and leather. Warm Vanilla sweetness from benzozin is complimented by beautiful incense notes, layered with smoky notes from Birch.

This perfume does not unfold in traditional top, mid, and base stages instead comes together as a masterfully blended set of ingredients where very every note compliment each other!. It's pure craftsmanship.

Ombre Nomade is a masterpiece, but it can get redundant if you have a lot of rose-oud scents. Its potency demands extreme caution with sprays where 3 sprays go a long way. In fact, I made the mistake of over-spraying and did my classic 6-spray test, only to battle a headache for 6 hours straight. Underspray to enjoy

Overall, this is a staple in my collection, and I'd recommend experiencing it once, at least at your local store. If you're into fresher scents, you may not appreciate this. It's a bold, elegant fragrance that leaves a lasting impression—just be mindful of its power!

Leather love

So there I am standing, 10 new decants in my hand to try and test. Ombre Nomade being one of them. Giving them all a quick test on a piece of paper. First impression was like yuck, smells like gasoline and … well basically just gasoline to be honest. I didn’t like it at all.

So this was the last one I actually sprayed on my skin. And lo and behold the thing opens up like a MF! Nice smooth leather with something sweet on top. Oh boy that’s good. And good that I only sprayed two sprays because it projects perfectly!

I didn’t even have to adk my wife “what do you think of this frag?”, she actually complimented me out of the blue! Lol that’s a first. So what’s not to love? Maybe it’s not the freshy you can wear in the summer. But to be honest… when you smell like this, who cares?

Notas de cuero, oud y rosa formando un conjunto muy masculino. El secado y la longevidad son increíbles. Proyecta las primeras 4-5 horas y después queda a medio metro.
Percibo la rosa al oler la botella pero al aplicar se crea un hermoso y complejo acorde de cuero.
