The spiciest cookie in the world
Now that the sub-zero temperatures have set in outside and the first people are putting up their Christmas lights, it's finally time to get Turmeric Latte off the shelf again, spray it on a daily basis and let this fragrance cuddle you up. Because I admit, there aren't many times of the year when I enjoy wearing it as much as I do now.
For me, it's a very typical, heavy, sweet and dark winter fragrance with real oomph, so I never need more than two sprays to enjoy it for a long time. The fragrance is also quite linear and doesn't show much development.
The fragrance reminds me a lot of the spicy ginger cookies you get at Ikea, only with more smoke, resinousness (which is particularly prevalent in the opening) and spice. There is tonka in it, but not a marzipan-like tonka bean, but one that tends towards espresso bean. I can even smell something slightly burnt. And of course the spicy vanilla that envelops and rounds everything off.
Conclusion: definitely not a run-of-the-mill fragrance and by Lush standards it's a real winner!

The forest, the incens and the art of sauna
Sometimes, when I go on mid-summer bike rides with my gravel bike, I love to roam the local forests. Often there lie harvested logs of spruce and fir, neatly stacked, already dried for weeks in the summer sun. I throttle...
