Oudlovers pay attention.

Wow this is one hell of a strong parfum. If you like heavy scents you would love this, it is kind a arabic style strong oud but also some leather and sometimes i smell kind a rubber and patchouli. In my opinion smells like kilian’s pure Oud. Today i was wearing this one and did also just one spray on my hand and I realized I smell my hand every 2 minutes, even after hours of work I discovered that the scent is still there on my hand ( even i did wash my hands a couple of times) guess I loved this one some strong masculine parfum, don’t think this one is female perfume(sorry) :-).
So i could say this is very long lasting one. Thake it if you are a oudlover.

A Long Life

My dearest grandson,

My grandfather died 4 weeks ago. In a motorcycle accident. He was once again going way too fast, on his way to one of his lovers. He was 123 years old. I just booked the flight to xxxx.

Chelsea does not mess around with bergamot frills and starts off strong with oud of the bitter, medicinal kind. No cow barn in sight, which is already good. Spices are also present from the beginning and enhance the medicinal impression even more. Dark vetiver joins in, and later a bit of patchouli. The medicinal bitterness recedes somewhat but remains ever-present. After 1.5 hours, a very slight freshness from the vetiver comes through, along with dark wood and a bit of damp earth. I couldn't detect any amber. The whole thing lasts easily 8-9 hours and projects quite strongly for the first 2-3 hours. The scent does develop, but the medicinal-bitter oud remains dominant from start to finish.
Another oud variant after the cow barn - I already prefer this one by 100%. I still don’t like wearing it though…

The Big Surprise!

Premiere...my first comment:-)

For months now, I've been hesitating about this Chelsea and had not dared to try it (I was too afraid of too much medicinal oud) and then forgot about it again. Now a good opportunity arose and I seized it.
The package arrived, opened it, sprayed....and oh!
Oh yes, medicinal....of the very hardest kind.
I gave it some time and only after a few minutes the BIG SURPRISE! It transformed from medicinal into a dream of bergamot and vetiver. Delicious!
Bright dry wood, citrusy and enveloped by the most wonderful oud. Slightly edgy, yet still enveloping, fresh, and spicy. Towards the end, I find it a bit warmer, earthier....arrived. Wonderful!
A walk through a bright, sunlit forest, shortly after a spring rain.

On me, the sillage is only noticeable in the first three to four hours, after that I am surrounded by a very beautiful aura.
The longevity is about eight to nine hours.
The bottle....as always, a true treasure, like all Boadicea.
I am very curious to wear Chelsea in warmer temperatures.
Conclusion: Boadicea, my skin, and I...it fits!
