Dear Diary...
...I'm really sorry that I haven't written in so long. But with our move, I had so much on my plate - and then you weren't in the box with my favorite shirts, even though I was sure I had packed you in there. Last night, I finally hung up all my posters - nothing happened to Jared, hooray! - and now I have you back. I was really panicking that I might have misplaced you or - even worse - that someone could read you.
Next week is the big day - the first day at my new school! I'm really excited. I checked out the pictures from the spring school festival and the last prom on the website, and I think there are some pretty cool people there. I just hope I don't mess it up on the first day. Before the move, I went out with Mom and bought a super cute new pink shirt. But maybe it would be better if I wore something from a store here in town, what do you think?
Mom let herself be convinced to buy me this s-u-p-e-r-s-c-h-ö-n-e new perfume from Missoni. Of course, I had to promise that my grades would improve, and she wants me to choose some kind of voluntary club - fingers crossed that she forgets about it soon! I just hope I can quickly make contact with the cool girls in class - maybe there will be a party or something soon. I absolutely have to lose a kilo by next week and get my ends trimmed, they're already really damaged again.
The Missoni perfume is s-u-p-e-r-s-c-h-ö-n, have I mentioned that? Totally fruity, just the way I like it, and then all powdery sweet with flowers and a bit of caramel, so good. The bottle is also AMAZING. Maybe I'll invite the cool girls in class over soon and casually leave it on my desk. They will be amazed! I'm also considering whether I should hang Jared above my bed or just lean him against the wall; that might look cooler, right?
Conclusion: perfect for a sixteen-year-old to reinvent herself on the first day of school. For everyone else, it's rather medium interesting.
