Warm bitter frankincense
Probably the best Anthony Marmin I have tried. Warm bitter frankincense over a clean woody base, with a bit of florals thrown in for balance. Someone on Maison Anthony Marmin's website said it just smelled like a longer-lasting version of "Attar Omani | Maison Anthony Marmin / Abdul Karim Al Faransi", and while I do think the frankincense in here is similar, there is added depth to this one. Attar Omani is more citrusy while Oud Manhattan is woodier and ambery — almost as if Attar Omani is the "EDT" and Oud Manhattan is the "EDP" or "Parfum" version, which of course doesn't make sense in this context as both are attars, but scent profiles of more concentrated spray fragrances tend to go in the same direction as Oud Manhattan did to Attar Omani.
The "oud" label is a bit weird, seeing how there is no oud in the note pyramid, and it doesn't really smell like there is any oud in here. But still great value, a 1/4 tola is only $50, and they usually have promotions where they give a free 1/4 tola if you spend more than a certain amount, so you can easily get 3 mini bottles for $100 which is fantastic for this quality of juice in my opinion.
