More in love with shock than for a long time
I've just sold a large part of my collection, but I questioned whether it makes sense to have SO much (and there are people who have significantly more!). Ten fragrances are to remain, only when one is emptied may a new one move in. I'm curious to see how I can keep this up :D
I was rummaging around in my sample box with great interest a little while ago and came across the tester for this fragrance, which I got from Lubner in Hamburg in December. Sprayed it on and off I went on my "adventure".
The fragrance opens with lots and lots of dark oud. An explosion of spices that needs 2-3 minutes to settle. After that, however, the passion fruit quickly emerges in its most beautiful form. In terms of fragrance, it feels like wearing Ombre Nomade while eating a Solero ice cream. The fruity note is beautifully creamy and blends well with the darker notes. Leather and vanilla notes round off this fragrance. After a while, the fragrance loses its "in your face" and aggressive character from the beginning and becomes totally cuddly.
I can't judge the H/S yet, but it should be above average, so you can trust the reviews. Even though I'm already gearing my collection more towards spring/summer, this oud fragrance would still be worth considering. The next cold season is sure to come (or we're right in the middle of it :D).

Vanilla crescents on steroids
I bought the fragrance "spontaneously" at Alsterhaus after returning a gift so I could spend the money on something I really wanted. Smelled a sample and off I went.
The vanilla is above all else. At the beginning, for about the first...
