The easygoing yunger brother of Ombre Nomade
This is my first review,
I've always been a fan of Ombre Nomade, but the price and the sheer quantity of that beast deterred me from ever buying it, even in the grey market. So i cherished with all my heart a small 2ml sample and once in a while i'd put it on and appreciate the magnificent work that this fragrance is.
One day i was walking through the shopping mall and came across Oud Maracuja and OH BOY.
As soon as i smelt it i was like "What the heck?! This is a more "fruity", smooth Ombre Nomade!"
I was captured, i sprayed it on my wrist and kept the tester strip, so i could analyze and compare the two fragrances once at home.
Oud Maracuja starts with this juicy, tart, almost overripe Passion Fruit accompanied by a small presence of rose, but then comes a kick from the back, this OUD, a leathery, a bit barnyard, believable oud (because it's actually an accord) that creates this amazing contrast between playfull, fruity, and dirty, dark. This contrast, makes the fragrance so captivating, layered and joyful.
I've found it, i've found the fragrance that filled the hole created by Ombre Nomade.
Everytime i spray it, it just makes me so happy. I always imagine beeing at a party at night on a beach, in a tropical place, where everybody's dancing around a bonfire,
Just having a good time.
