Fleeting aquatic watermelon & strawberries
I didn’t check the notes before trying out this perfume, so I went in without much knowledge. At the beginning, I’m getting an aquatic-like strawberry and watermelon-like synthetic accord. There’s no watermelon here, but I can swear there’s a very juicy, fresh note of watermelon flesh. Doesn’t take long before it starts to smell like freshly picked strawberries with a small hint of green. I do get some clean jasmine in the background (very faint) that’s on the fresh and floral side. Drydown is primarily musky, like your skin, but better.
It’s a very lovely fragrance, but the performance is absolutely abyssmal. Very fragile and fleeting, it lasted a good hour on my skin before disappearing completely. It’s great if you want to smell clean and fresh at the beginning of the day, but if you’re looking for a long-lasting fragrance, this isn’t it. I loved the top notes the most, but the performance is what’s keeping me away from adding a full bottle to my collection. Nonetheless, it’s a very lovely take on strawberries!
