French Brocade Margo

my initial reaction was confusion - an intense, sharp blast of musk and clean aldehydes - immediately bringing to mind fabric conditioner. overwhelmingly clean, definitely unexpected for a scent named 'Candy Rose'. //

But there was an undeniable appealing freshness, so I decided to let the bottle sit for a while. The result? It softened dramatically, allowing the 'rose' and 'candy' to finally bloom. Think of a basket of freshly washed clothes near a rose garden on a cool morning.

It's perfect for spring or summer, or for when you want to smell incredibly clean and fresh.

I like it but not wowed. i like the smell a lot but its a clean, rosey, juicy smell. a little sharp in the start, not amazing lasting power or sillage but its affordable. don't hate it but i'm def not inlove with her.
I smelled this on a girl 2 years ago and liked it. This was the perfume she wore!!!

In my opinion this is the weakest link in the Thameen Musk collection (I haven't tried the blue one though). Like Wild Vanilla and Sugar Plum, it's very "what you see is what you get". So, it smells like a very sweet, musk-infused rose with hints of fruit, and that's it. Unfortunately it feels quite synthetic and soapy, a bit like a shampoo, but not a great one. I find it a little scratchy. Only after several hours of wearing it turns warmer and softer with an undertone of vanilla.

On the plus side it's a good performer, especially for the cheap price. I don't hate it, but it's a bit abrasive. Rose is not exactly an uncommon note and there are so many better roses on the market.

Like all of this line this has a milky, semi-opaque liquid, which looks fun but doesn't change anything about the scent.
