They don't even try to act like this was made with natural oils, because this was very clearly made with 100% purified distillate of the color pink. I usually forget most of the notes of fragrances by the time I try them, so I sometimes smell things that aren't listed at all and am even convinced they are main notes. With Yara, strawberry was a note like that. When I first tried it I wrote "sweet berries & cream cloud" in my notes app, only to find out later that this doesn't have any berries at all. Instead, there are tropical fruits listed, and the funny thing is that I can really smell those now.
Anyways, no matter if you get strawberries or tropical fruit or both, this is definitely a creamy, sweet and fruity scent. It has a lovely base of vanilla and white musk that reminds me a lot of Montblanc Signature, but this is less citrusy. Fitting to the bottle it smells like a pink, fluffy, girly version of Montblanc. The drydown becomes a little warmer and slowly loses the clean floral notes that are noticeable at first, the vanilla really starts to shine, but it's still fruity. It only gets better over time and is very long-lasting.

This is lovely, especially if you're looking for a carefree, casual daytime perfume that is sweet and gourmand, but also somewhat fresh and clean.
I bought it instantly after testing and wear it frequently. Yara is such a great everyday scent, and for the price you can't really go wrong.

This perfume went viral based on a lie, or perhaps, a misunderstanding. This does not smell like a strawberry milkshake, nor is this in any part a strawberry perfume. I think there's some psychological persuasion at work with the pink of the bottle and just how pervasive the "strawberry milkshake" line got online that people are literally tricking themselves into smelling strawberry where there is nary any strawberry to be found.

This is mainly a fruity floral, with the fruit of this being provided by some zestier citruses and tropical leaning notes - I'd wager there's some coconut-ish lactones in this contributing to something of a sunscreen vibe for some. The bulk and heart of this is indeed the florals, which are pretty prominent throughout wear time. Although, I very much hesitate to call this a floral primarily, because there's definitely a big dose of vanillin and maltol giving a much sweeter dry down and really pillowing this altogether. It's a fruity flormand, in that sense.

I fell for the TikTok hype for this one and blind-bought a rollerball, and I'm not mad!

This did NOT smell how I expected, though. I heard this one smelled like strawberry milkshakes, rich vanilla cake, gourmand. That is NOT what I smell at all. Whoever is saying that online is lying, truly. (Or has no idea what a gourmand smells like)

To me, Yara is light and airy, sweet and powdery, fluffy strawberry florals. Almost like shampoo. Just a classic "girly" sweet and fruity scent. Still pleasant, absolutely, but not rich and gourmand by any means.

Performs more like a strong body mist than a perfume on me, I have to reapply a few times a day to get the scent to last. But for the price, I don't mind that. I just toss the rollerball in my purse if I'm wearing it that day.

Overall, I'm not mad! But I'm also not dazzled. Just moderately pleased (:

This fragrance review is coming from a man perspective, so keep that in mind. Now when I first tested this fragrance it was a quick sniff and I wasn't a fan at first because I thought it was just another Lattafa fragrance. After testing this out to do this review my mind did a quick 360 degrees change, this fragrance started off very creamy and then got very sexy once the strawberry or cherry note kicked in. This is a fragrance I love smelling on a woman because, it is so feminine, creamy and very lady like. So in short if you have not got your hands on this fragrance , you might want to reconsider!
