Summer in Italian Riviera

Beautifully bright, easy to wear, longlasting perfume. It's very refined, well blended, however there's one note that I find really outstanding throughout the life of Rituale and this is beeswax which is present from the beginning to the end. It's far from being cloying as the honey note sometimes could be. Bittersweetness of the fruits gives the contrast to the beeswax and flowers, approaching this perfume towards gourmand, but not being "a real" gourmand.

Attraction

If there is one word that defines this composition by Amélie Bourgeois, it is attraction.
This magnificent fragrance creates an atmosphere that traps you between a mantle of jasmine and rose, with a honey that gives it a sweet point, without being gourmand. In the background of the composition, the amber, wood and musk notes make it very attractive.
Like many from the Italian house, it stands out for its versatility, with a remarkable saddle and durability.

I bought a sample because I was so curious how this perfume smell. Everyone said it was one of the best perfume from Esxence 2017. It is a wonderful perfume, full of power and personality. Unique. Interesting. Different. His sweetness is given by raspberry, pomegranate mixed with sandalwood and amberwood. It also has a bitter note that reminds me of beeswax smell. The sweet note combined with the bitter note equal a great smell with a classical touch, very well structured. You can’t destroy its hardness, it stays till the end, like a pyramid over centuries. Can’t be broken. Again: beautiful and rough smell, very stable. It lasts well and does not change. Give it a try and you might be surprised

Timeless elegant rose scent that plays it safe

Very interesting fragrance, somewhat old-fashioned and thus almost current again. Dry, slightly spicy bergamot in the opening, very subtle lavender (thank goodness) and fresh floral notes behind it with jasmine and rose mainly, slightly sweet, but never powdery or sticky, rather fresh-floral.

Becomes increasingly sensual, the rose becomes stronger, but also the raspberry, more dry-delicate behind it, rather than fresh-sour or too sweet, very feminine and elegant.

After 45 minutes or more, it then becomes softly woody, cozy, still slightly sensual, sandalwood and amber wood in combination with the fresh musk and delicately creamy wax create a very refined, relaxing base, elegant rose continues to hover above, timeless, not too old-fashioned.

Very balanced, elegant rose scent, more timeless than old-fashioned for me, a little fruit, a little woods and amber provide variety and yet create a harmonious overall picture.
