Great Scent That I Had Never Heard Of

I went into a fragrance shop looking for a new scent. I wanted something I could use as a daily, that worked well with the current weather (summer). I went in and probably smelled 20-30 scents. I smelled this on a strip and thought it was decent, but I was leaning towards something else. Then I sprayed my top four choices onto different places on my arm and went outside. I breathed in the fresh air, then smelled each spot, not knowing which was which (the person at the counter had them written down for me).

This scent was clean and sweet smelling, and it projected so much better than the others. I was drawn to it and went in to see which one it was. I was surprised to find it was Zest + Vetiver.

I purchased and and wore it regularly following. It grew on me even more. I got compliments on it. I love the sweetness. Its one that I enjoy smelling throughout the day while I wear it. I usually have pretty good luck with longevity on my skin, but this one has great projection and longevity, and I can smell it on my skin still when I wake up the next morning.

As a side, I also like the packaging and bottle. IMO at ~$100, it was a good pick up and already one of my favorites to wear.

Zest+Vetiver

Great daily scent for me. Prefect for warm sunny day out with friends or on a date. The basil and lemon stand out in the beginning initial spray and last for a good while on my skin. Dry down does introduce the lavender and mossy scents which I do personally like a lot. This is my fourth Michael Malul scent i have bought and will purchase again in the future when i run out.

I am sorry and I hate to do this, but I have to be honest. This fragrance smells great on paper, but on skin the dry down in my opinion is terrible. I was so fortunate that my local fragrance store allowed me to return it. I bought several fragrances from Michael Malul the best ones in my opinion is citizens Jack absolute and Parfum and also jet black platinum. They are safe buys.

Office, summer, fresh

Smells great, very business like. It would make a good daily scent which is non intrusive, plain, and elegant. Its pretty potent and projects fine. It has kind of a diffuser scent kind of vibe.

The lemon is prominent in the opening, while the drydown is heavy vetiver and oakmoss. I would not pay the price tag for this perfume, as the longevity is a little less than what I would desire.

Having said that, if I found this for under $50, I would snatch it up. I look forward to trying the other scents in the + collection of Michael Malul, which I didn't know existed until yesterday.
