Vanilla Scent Tree in a Smoky Twingo
As you can already tell from the title, this will not be a positive comment.
Normally, my nose gets along well with vanilla and sweet things, and I don't have a big problem with neroli as long as it stays in the background. But this scent is simply too much of everything!
It starts off quite harmless. The top note reminds me a lot of various Juicy Couture fragrances; fruity, feminine, and sweet. But that doesn't last long, as the scent transforms into a smokier version of Gaultier² with a splash of Aldi toffee liqueur. Cheap vanilla meets cigarette smoke and the smell of alcohol. It reminds me of long, late-night drives to some clubs. That's what it smells like when you pack a car with chain-smoking, vanilla-scented girls drinking vodka (yes, for me, it's brandy). It's really stuffy, sweet to the point of pain, and oppressive. Not good, not good at all. And the worst part is that the scent seems to last forever on my skin. 30% for the good longevity and for the fact that the scent, despite all its hideousness, goes through at least an interesting development. But as we know, there is a target audience for everything.

Nothing to complain about.
Michalsky Woman is a beautiful fragrance, that much is clear.
Sometimes German designers manage to create something decent.*gg* I was already impressed by Iris von Arnim, and this scent is no less remarkable.

I don't detect the previously mentioned alcoholic note. If it's there, then it's soft, bright, and velvety, just like the entire fragrance.

The pear dominates a bit at the beginning and gives the fragrance a fine powdery touch.
It doesn't veer into sweetness but has a lovely feminine charm.

To me, it feels very elegant and suits classic or even conservative clothing. Velvet, silk, and cashmere, that's what I associate with Michalsky Woman.

A tiny delicate spiciness adds the final touch to the fragrance.
Occasionally, a praline note appears, giving the scent a fine gourmand twist. It reminds me of the lovely Asbach-Uralt pralines with a sugar crust that I enjoy so much. But this note is just a whisper and extremely harmonious.
Vanilla and sandalwood provide the cozy factor.

A truly fine and wonderful fragrance.

Michael Michalsky is a German designer who, according to the company website, caters to the "high-fashion segment" with his label "Michalsky." Recently, he has launched his first fragrances (Michalsky Women and Michalsky Men).

What stands out most about Michalsky Women is a very prominent "alcoholic" note - I don't mean the alcohol smell that almost all fragrances emit immediately after spraying due to their alcohol content, but a note that reminds one of high-proof aromatic spirits. This note can be well attributed to the brandy listed in the top notes of the fragrance note list. However, it was not only perceivable for me in the first few minutes after spraying but remained distinctly present alongside the also clearly noticeable fruity notes for hours. And it was so pronounced that I hardly noticed any flowers or licorice.

A brandy aperitif in the timeframe of the top notes would have been completely sufficient, but as it is, the olfactory schnapps is too much for me. Michalsky Women cannot become dangerous to me.

Just for the sake of completeness: The dry down is as one would expect from the list of fragrance notes above, so vanilla-woody-sweet with a slightly gourmand touch.

Delicious treat.
Unfortunately, it has been discontinued and is now only available at outrageous prices.
Definitely unisex.
