Bloom like the violet in the moss - here in the wind
Today I'm once again testing fragrances randomly - and so I grabbed this scent without a second thought, which lies among many others in my wooden box, and thought to myself, let me write a comment.
Well then:
Right after spraying, a small, modest violet scents the air. I immediately think of that saying we used to write in each other's poetry albums:
Bloom like the violet in the moss,
modest, humble, and pure.
And not like the proud rose,
that always wants to be admired.
Ah, how my mother loved this saying. And I found it so (horrible and) intimidating and boring.
Exactly that is what I associate with this scent:
A tiny little violet, that wafts quietly and shyly and unpretentiously just before it disappears - a gust of wind and it's simply gone.
If by chance a vanilla flower is blooming nearby, the wind carries a hint of it in the direction of the violet, but only for a moment.
Barely is the violet there, it's already blown away. So modest, blameless - and unremarkable.
No, no, not a scent for me. Straight into the discard box.
