First Land in Sight
My first review and the first review for this fragrance. First of all, I want to thank everyone for this wonderful platform that gives a stage to my new passion in life!
Now to Ferragamo Red Leather... right from the start: as wonderful as it begins, it fades just as quickly. Unfortunately! Because what greets me in the opening delights my heart. A bath in summer-fresh lemon lemonade in fine leather underwear. This scene is framed by floral impressions that know how to fit in well, but appear somewhat undefined, which does not detract from the first impression. Unfortunately, this opening fades, and with it, the leather underwear very quickly. The refreshing sensuality is completely pushed into the background in less than an hour in favor of the vetiver, which enjoys itself centrally with the violets as the fragrance develops. No question, still a pleasure... but together with the leather, it would have been a true delight and would have done justice to both the name and the bottle.
So, one is left a bit wistful, trying to navigate through the botanicals. This too is quickly abandoned. The longevity is very moderate for me. The fragrance becomes relatively close to the skin and retreats to a soft herbal caramel within 3-4 hours. Pleasant. But I would have liked more.
