Hotzenplotzen's Chameleon
(Background: Parfumos send me samples, I then test the perfumes sent without any knowledge and describe my response - that of an inexperienced dilettante)
First impression:
Hooray, I've finally found it. The signature scent of the robber Hotzenplotz.
Second impression:
It's herbaceous, balsamic, slightly spicy, reminiscent of fresh, slightly bitter goutweed and maggi herb. But there is also something sweet and floral in the background. Perhaps something sour, a little medicinal and definitely woody with schnapps. In other words, almost everything that the palette of possible ingredients could have to offer. I'm almost lucky that they didn't use puffed rice or salted herring.
Interesting, when I try to imagine who would wear such a fragrance, I involuntarily think of a landscape and not a person at all. Barren, rugged rocks embedded in a sea of greenery. Suddenly it's as sweet as honey again - a real chameleon among perfumes. I'd actually like to ask my little specialist (5) for her expert opinion, but I stirred the cocoa the wrong way round instead of the right and will be grimly ignored for the time being. Maybe another time. But the scent could suit her so well!

Chocolate fondue!
There are countless rose oud fragrances, but this one stands out. While other competitors generally follow the "sweet rose with shrill synthetics - oud" route, Onyx comes with a dark, juicy and fleshy rose plus fruity Thai oud at the beginning....
