Mineral-y grandpa fougere for only a short while

I tested Kościuszko because it was recommended as a gunpowder scent. After the first minute, a definite, strong gunpowder note appears amid a very nice fougere scent. Shortly thereafter, the gunpowder begins to mellow out and the general impression remaining is of a wonderful 1980's grandpa fougere with a touch of mineral. Close up, I could still identify the gunpowder. At this point, Kościuszko is at its best. Unfortunately, it only lasts like this for about 3 hours. After which, it dries down further to a generic 1980's fougere skin scent without the gunpowder or mineral aspect. Overall longevity is moderate with only moderate projection. If only that middle point mineral-y fougere lasted longer. I'll pass.

Smell Like a Noir Film

This is the smell of a detective in a classic noir film. Its the slightly sweet soap that he uses to shave. Its the cold metal of his gun and the residual scent of gun powder on his trench coat. Its being deep in the forest, digging to hide a body. It smells like danger and bad decisions you can't help but make. A year after first smelling this and I still haven't found anything like it. A 10ml for $65 and a 50ml for $185.

Original: Don't let the gunpowder note scare you, this scent is a unique scent for the bold. When first spraying this you are hit with spice of the pepper and little bit of the citrus, which smooths out the spice's rough edges. The scent eases into a smokey tobacco and the gunpowder. This smells like a gun just went off. Metallic and smokey. As the scent drys down you get more of the green and woody notes, making the scent dry and earthy. I loved this scent, it is something I would wear to feel confident and intimidate others. The projection is great and the scent lasted for 6 hours on my skin.
