A top-class Italo classic
Oleg Cassini was born a Russian nobleman in Paris and grew up in Italy and Denmark. Later he continued his life as a fashion designer in the USA, where he designed clothes for Marilyn Monroe, among others, and also had a relationship with Grace Kelly. What a career...
So I am all the less surprised that besides fashion, stylish fragrances have also been launched!
OC For Men is one of them, of course. Although it is the younger version of the classic, it is for me one of the best fragrances ever. Unfortunately I don't know the predecessors and successors, you might be interested, but maybe this is not even necessary, Oleg Cassini for men is perfect for me as he is!
It starts massive, the prelude shows immediately where it's going, straight to Trussardi uomo, funny enough I even find that it has something to do with both trussardis, the 1983 version as well as the 2011 version, especially in the top note. Towards the base I smell mainly different herbs that are bedded on wood and a leathery touch, as well as something slightly earthy-sweet with which it also ends, I guess on Patchouli.
All in all a beautiful fragrance with style, which is more looking for a suit than a shirt and jeans, but still not so heavy and marks its brute male territory à la Trussardi 1983.
Some time ago I had given him away, can't understand nowadays what drove me to it... but I'm glad to be in possession of a 100ml copy again. And this time he's staying!

In the green...
Basically a beautiful, green-floral-leathery fellow, this would be the end of my review if it weren't for a dark note that initially seems cheerful, but pulls you away like a 2.05m tall, broad security man and says: Not today.
Or the loved one to whom...

Tobacco wood nights?!
However, this is where I like to stay! This fragrance is so seductive that I had to have it because of a sample. Then good old ShaunBaker also made a bargain and bought this Spanish flagship oriental cheaply in the bay, yes, we always advise...
