Favorite summer

I struggle to find scents that are appropriate for casual warm weather that I like, I love big deep smoky incense resin woody etc which become suffocating on hot summer days. My favorite botanical perfumes are usually the darkest of the line. This really hits the spot for me in hot weather when I want something subtle and light.

Citrus is bright, smoke is light enough for even hot weather, the wood is more cedar than oaky. Its classy and accessible, acceptable for most occasions, and delicately beautiful.

Well? How's it going?

I needed time to see clearer, and I see, uh, smell now.
The scent had been there for some time. In summer, when everything was still tuttifrutti.
But it didn't work out. Although the citric always fits, in summer, one says so, it's not so.

Because Toschi has a melancholic freshness; he is so cheerful and sad as death; do you know that?
Incense does something here, don't ask me what, but he does something; and he only does it in the dark.
It must all be gray, and rainy, and shit-dark. Then it works, then it also works with the mood, goes along, and only then.

So I left him to his own devices. It certainly didn't feel too good for the bottle, but if it wasn't possible in summer! Then, later, I called him just to ask how it works, he didn't answer, just let it ring, and now I'm describing the dial tone, which is actually the busy signal.

Hinoki false cypress: evergreen, free-standing, monocoque (googling yourself) causes hay fever.
I am close to circular parallels to "Nabucco", clear, less intense but very similarly complex & sensitive.
Goes down like oil.
