Taste reminder
Parfumo lists a few dozen fragrances, which - verbally extended more or less extensively - bear the name "Hope". I tested three of them, namely XerJoff's 'Blue Hope', Thameens 'The Hope' and Sweet Anthems '2020 - Hope'. In all three cases, hope did not do much good. Now it's resting on Agonist's attempt (the fact that I haven't tested it yet can only be an accident!) and of course today's candidate.

Hope helps in bitter hours. If that was the idea behind the fragrance's inception, it has been aptly put into practice, because it starts off bitterly, bergamot and lavender don't give each other anything in this respect. But only a few minutes pass before the combination of the two almost develops the quality of a very bitter lavender-lemon candy. Or rather the departure of it, almost the memory of it. That's not very original, but it's a good guess.

Unfortunately already in the course of the morning a light musk note makes itself noticeable, which I can suffer less well, particularly since it develops an impression of soft plastic together with the sweet-creamy fraction in the afternoon. This is a pity, because the remarkably long-lasting citrus note is thereby considerably reduced in enjoyment.

The late afternoon evening end is not merely basal, but downright fundamental, namely stony with a tendency to shell-like. A bit of citrus is still there, undaunted, tangy and powerful. The latter possibly supported by a remaining "lower end" of the lavender. Without announcement I would not have come on such a thought of course.

Conclusion: Growth through.

I thank Naimie54 for the rehearsal.
