Megamare Orto Parisi 2019

Yes, Megamare is the strongest perfume I have come across so far, both in terms of sillage and also durability. Through the search for such a monster, I landed with him. Aquatic, or maritime or even "oceanic" it should also be - although not in the typical designer way, but aquatic just. I love the Aqva range from Bvlgari, so I thought I'd get something along those lines, only in a more extreme form. Extreme it definitely is - after all, there are some base notes that last for weeks on textiles or paper. Megamare, however, is even smellable on the skin for several days, whether you shower or not. I don't even want to talk about the pillow, again and again a small pinch drove into my nose. With the projection it looks no different, once sprayed on the arm the stuff does not let you go, I could even smell nen test strip, which was two meters away on the coffee table. This is alone from a technical point of view highly impressive, in practice but also me somehow too much, and although I actually like these "Beasmode" things.

Of course, I have read a lot about the fragrance, and so the expectations were high. Now these expectations were actually exceeded, but not necessarily in a positive sense. H/S and intensity are really out of this world. However, the pleasantness of this fragrance does not quite fulfill what I wanted. Sauvage Eau de Toilette in the Extreme Edition was said by some sites. Unprejudiced, I actually smell Maggi in Megamare - immediately after spraying it on, it is still fresh, but this freshness settles very quickly and from then on the scent remains absolutely the same. Would the scent of the opening so linear pull through, then I fänds horny, but in the actual course I lack this freshness. Yes, where I have read so much, I can already understand this sea theme, and also understand - if you pull up a completely rusted ship from the depths, then it will probably smell so in the way. I've read so much about it that maybe I can already nicth be biased about these associations. So I visited my father with a sprayer on my arm. That was the first day of testing, when I didn't want to wear it "properly" yet, lest I become smell-blind. My father liked it, but he couldn't understand the sea story. The next evening I met with nem friend for a beer - three sprays I had applied. "You smell like the carpet shelf in the Bauhaus" it said from his side - he fands not cool, but even disgusting. A few days ago ne friend at the test strip smell let. The fands not disgusting, but also not horny. But she is actually on everything "ambroxanige", which I have so on offer. And that brings us to the sobering realization. It was said that the scent would be full to the brim with ambrocenide, which in turn is supposed to be similar to ambroxan, only stronger. But that's exactly what doesn't seem to work so well. That gentle, slightly woody is just missing. That beguiling scent that is pungent to some, but just incredibly appealing to many. It's missing here, some control is turned up too far. I actually smell Maggi, with a touch of fresh. Oddly enough, not so much in ne Umami way, because the water does not run together in my mouth. Also not particularly warm, but rather cool-salty, with minimal algae hints, and a rusty-metallic note.

This fragrance has me in ne very funny way under its spell. So I can not help but smell it again and again. If I wear it on the arm wanders even at night again and again to my nose. With the test strip the same, I have to sniff it again and again, as well as the bottle. But as much as he draws me into his spell, so little I can imagine to actually wear. I did, but there was only one person involved. I think I have to approach there carefully and actually test him first with a spray on the collar. And that's in all seasons. Many praise him as a high summer fragrance, I can not judge so quickly. I suppose I will still revise this review, even two weeks have not been enough for me to understand this Megamare so right.

The perfume is for me a true masterpiece, as far as the artistic aspect is concerned, but it will definitely not please everyone, I think the "Aneckpotential" is even enormously high. If one has this monster, however, then it has one, and one is caught with strange feelings.

The bottle is beautiful: the mother of pearl in the cap, the metal eaten by the sea jener - in addition, the bottle just super, the color of the fragrance could also not be more appropriate.

Then I had the idea: I exaggerate times right and mix the stuff with Ombre Nomade . 50:50 Blend in the 2 ml atomizer shaken (not stirred) and sprayed on the arm. Believe it not, I like the result incredibly well, and the exaggerated "sharpness" of the two fragrances has merged into something gentle, which acts on me much rounder than the two source materials. I can only recommend, try it out.
