Soft Contrast Otto Kern 2018 Eau de Toilette

In the often overlooked world of fragrances, there are occasionally treasures to be discovered that shine more because of their value than their price. My two friends and I came across such a treasure one day during our brief escape from the daily routine of our training. Our scene was the DM, a place that had never before seemed to us to be a haven of special discoveries. We rummaged through the shelves, driven by the desire to elicit a touch of joy from the routine of our lunch break.

Among the numerous bottles crowding the shelves - some from brands that whispered synthetic like Esprit and Ariana Grande - one of us found an unassuming little bottle. It wasn't a product that impressed with its oil content, but with the soft, inviting aura it exuded. "Soft" and cuddly is how I would describe the fragrance, and at that moment there was no by-product that could hold a candle to it.

Despite its modest longevity, which caused the fragrance to evaporate after just half an hour, it offered something far beyond its material value. It was not for those who sought recognition from others, but for those who found pleasure in a fragrance for themselves. Like a velvet shawl gently draping the shoulders, it offered a bridge to inner peace, accessible to anyone willing to find it.

It was as if we had found the Jigglypuff of Pokémon - a treasure that could be had for an Abbel and an egg, but whose value lay in its ability to bring joy. Both my girlfriend and I decided to get this bottle, and to this day I wear it with a special fondness. In contrast to the more expensive perfumes that keep their vigil on my shelf, this is the only one that sits in my gym bag and doesn't get swapped for another sporty scent, it serves me perfectly as a sort of "shhh, shhh" express shower for the gym. It's not a fragrance for the "fight", but rather a dear companion; the jigglypuff that fills the air around me with a loving sweetness.
