I don't want to become a member....

The water for the no longer trendy nightclub P1 in Munich. Perhaps an exquisite delight?
At first, there's hardly any scent at all, except for musk. This is the case with almost 70% of all fragrances. Then P1 takes a step further and offers mainly one thing: pepper. A feminine sweetness that at no point is particularly special, exciting, or zesty, paired with musk and pepper. The blend is neither masculine, nor feminine, nor individual, but simply yawningly boring. Thus, the own little bottle has failed at the supposedly toughest door in Germany.

Immediate Purchase - Interesting and Unmatched

I usually write fewer comments, as my fragrance preferences often do not align with the community, and I also do not have a particularly refined nose to distinguish all the ingredients from one another. However, when I smelled P1 for the first time today, I had to buy it immediately, as it smelled completely unlike any other fragrance in my collection. I own both Spicebomb and Hypnose, and both are in the top third of my favorite scents, but for me, P1 is something entirely its own, something new.

I could perceive the watermelon very well in the first few minutes, and I love watermelon. The initial moments of the fragrance were a delightful mix of sweetness, freshness, and heaviness... just the way I like it. As the fragrance develops, the fruity light notes fade a bit, and the pleasantly soft - albeit commonly found in many other fragrances - combination of tonka, amber, and musk comes to the forefront. Amber and musk are indeed similar in their mixing ratio to Hypnose, that is true. And the peppery note that characterizes Spicebomb also makes its way into P1, but I still consider P1 to be something unique. The soft woody notes and the heavy-fruity aspect (likely ginger, if I can trust the pyramid) are still perceptible to me after hours, which brings me to the wearability. I applied two sprays on my arm (around 5:00 PM), then spent the rest of the afternoon in the city, went shopping, stood in the kitchen cooking, and now, around midnight, I am writing this "rescue attempt," where I assure you that the fragrance has survived on me for at least these 7 hours without any issues.

I am glad to have expanded my collection with a new addition that has given me a lovely new impulse, even though - or precisely because - I did not expect much from a "club fragrance" that surely has nothing in common with my lifestyle... but the nose should be unbiased. I find the fragrance successful, rounded, soft, and cuddly.

Spicebomb meets Hypnose

The P1 in Munich is the meeting point for the beautiful and wealthy, or those who consider themselves to be! It was only a matter of time before the club launched its own fragrance. I myself have spent some nice evenings there when I was in Munich... I like the city on the Isar and have some good acquaintances there. One of them has good connections to the P1, and so I had the pleasure of receiving a tiny sample of the fragrance "Members only" before it was released.

As a perfume enthusiast, one is always curious about what one gets to smell, and I was very excited about the scent. One thing upfront: it is not a masterpiece, but certainly solid and decent. At first, it strongly resembles "Spicebomb" by Viktor & Rolf, but it is not as fresh as that one. The ginger and pepper clearly dominate the top notes. After that, the red chili comes to the forefront and hands over the scepter some time later to the watermelon and the light wood. Musk can also be clearly perceived in the scent development, which after a while strongly reminds one of "Hypnose" by Lancome.

I could not imagine a mix of "Spicebomb" and "Hypnose" - two fragrances that I actually like very much - until today. However, I must say that it fits together very well. Unfortunately, the longevity of "Members only" is rather modest. Very unfortunate, as the fragrance was marketed as a special "nightclubbing scent," whatever that is supposed to mean. But due to the short longevity, it will likely quickly fade in the nightlife before one has really noticed it.

I am sure "Members only" will find its followers - it already has one ;) Test it without prejudice... It is definitely better than the reputation of the P1!

Strong resemblance to Marc Jacobs "Bang", just more subtle and sweeter. Spicy-sweet with a hint of pepper. Right after spraying, it feels like a light Spicebomb.
