The Treasure of Valdemossa
It’s 44 degrees, we’re dragging ourselves over the hot cobblestones of Valdemossa and I sniff the Palmaria Vent d‘Estidou in the last little shop on the way back to the rental car. I remember exactly how it was. So refreshing, so zesty. But not this lemony zest, rather refreshingly different. I smell fig, water flowers, and orange, the sea. For me, it’s the holiday discovery. It’s incredibly unfortunate that it’s only an Eau de Cologne. I spray myself with it every day-whether it’s 40 degrees or 10. If I could only keep one fragrance, it would be this one. Unfortunately, it doesn’t last long (max 3h) and is rather close to the skin. It can even be worn in scorching heat-a fantastic summer scent.
