Nose flatterer for heat degrees
At these temperatures, we are all looking for refreshment, even with our fragrances.
Our already not small collections have of course provided for this weather and yet every day several times the question arises: "What do I use now?"
So it was also me this morning. Well, the morning was started conventionally with some atropine ("Atropa Belladonna"), which was also quite fine.
But already at noon I was looking for something else.
"Eros pour Femme" came to mind; but the filling I put aside for sporteln; so this fell away.
Now my dear Parfumista had in her "to go" collection, in which I may rob again and again, another Versace fragrance: "Versense".
The pyramid reads temperature-just; so was Pröbchen sought and found!
It is known that I do myself with citrus scents quite difficult: either they bite in the nose, bizzle on the skin or otherwise make themselves somehow unpopular. Rarely are we so completely happy with each other.
So surprised me here with "Versense" its softness: nothing scratches, nothing bites, nothing bizzelt - it's just fresh - refreshingly fresh - and pleasantly soft in the scent.
The green mandarin immediately comes in tangy fresh, is supported by a welcome gift of bergamot, which seems to dampen the acidity a bit - very pleasant!
But the highlight in the entrée is the scent of prickly pear - how is the fresh, yet fine and extremely friendly to the senses! It signals: "Well-being occurs"!
Even now, "Versense" is a harmoniously flowing fragrance composition.
Jasmine then first puts the crown on this fragrance painting: it is refined by the flattering white flower scent, which floats wonderfully on the wave of the top note - very relaxed and yet a little distinguished.
The sea lily always reminds me of the hint of lotus; whether it is the association with water - I do not know.
Anyway, it makes the previous fragrance fabric lighter - yes, even a little more watery!
At these temperatures, a very pleasant idea that immediately promises cooling.
Cardamom spices very nuanced and rounds off very nicely; "Versense" is very flowing through-composed. So far, this fragrance has neither corners nor edges; it flows evenly and pleasantly refreshing.
Woods What a great arrangement of woody notes is offered up here: Olive wood, the almost sacred; spicy cedar wood, which I love - I love fragrances that have that aroma in them - and of course "my darling" sandalwood!
Already "Versense" is characterized by something particularly sensual (well, "sense" also stands for sensation / sense - so why not!).
But woman (and of course the accompanying or encountering man) would not be satisfied if it remained only with this dot of sensual pleasure: a little should still be added!
Musk, skillfully dosed and just enough enticing, now perfects this midsummer fragrance!
A little reminds me this fragrance impression of Claude Monet's "water lily paintings"; not one in particular - they all carry this flowing-harmonious magic in itself.
"Versense" is not just a refreshing fragrance for warm to very warm days: it brings with it the sensual allure or enticing sensuality that is not to be scorned even at higher temperatures.
What does it mean here: "It's much too hot!"?
Nothing with it: it can not be too hot!!
Thus, the house of Versace has succeeded in creating a fragrance that stands out pleasantly from the fragrant generality and makes its wearer already something special: so many a look is risked there already!
Perhaps the look is followed by an invitation to a cocktail, a Prosecco or even a glass of champagne? Chi sa - who knows!
As with all summer fragrances, the shelf life is not outstanding; but it's fun to refresh a little bit every now and then - perhaps even according to the recipe of the still enchanting Catherine Deneuve?: a few spritzes in each knee!
