I beg you to test this beautiful fragrance!
I had waited for this perfume with great excitement before Christmas!
Since I like gardenias in Natura very much, in addition their almost narcotizing smell, so also this Lehmann candidate had to be tested.
I am very enthusiastic, because so far I have not found a solo fragrance with gardenia that I really liked.
In the meantime gardenia has moved into my collection and I like to wear it.
I'm surprised that here in the forum apparently hardly anyone has tested this perfume, or owns.
I think this Lehmann- scent might please some users who like gardenia perfumes, and so I ask you to test!

I think this elixir is a fresh, flowery, uncomplicated fragrance with authenticity, but with a noble spirit, but also lively and cheerful.
The water has nothing synthetic, too sweet or even a pungent smell that makes headaches.
This happens sometimes with intensively smelling flowers..
Not here, it is a well made perfume that a woman can wear in many ways, no matter if she is younger or has a more mature age
Gardenia starts after application without a stabbing alcohol note, but sweet-floral with the typical intoxicating scent of gardenia.
There is also a subtle hint of coconut, which stays pretty much in the background and makes the perfume a bit creamy.
Like my previous commentator "Gelis", I also perceive slightly green scent facets that make the fragrance as a whole interesting without robbing the opulent flowery sweetness of the enchanting white gardenia.
In the further process the intoxicating flowery smell remains, however, decreases somewhat at sweetness and it develops ever more a creamy skin feeling, while the Gardenie delicately green embedded always remains present up to the end of the smell development.

The durability is very good, because the scent veil remains on the skin for 6-8 hours.
The Sillage is increased mediocre.
And also the bottle with the typical nostalgic lettering of the traditional brand is an eye-catcher for me again and again.

Beguilingly flowery
In the last sent to me with price list of Harry Lehmann I found new "Gardenia". And since I often like gardenia in other fragrances, this one of course had to be with my next order.

Lehmann's "Gardenia" is very floral, slightly soapy, slightly honeyed but not sweet and I think I also perceive something faintly green. With time, a certain lightness also emerges. At the same time, the opening is already quite heavy. My spontaneous notes were: floral, plastic?, slightly soapy, a bit green, bubblegum?, chlorophyll?. And then also initially room-filling. Fortunately, it does not take long, and it smells beautiful after an elegant and beguiling flower.

The sillage regulates itself within 1 - 2 hours down to close to the body, with movement I get the fragrance every now and then in the nose. Now, about 5 hours after spraying on - the scent is close to the skin, but I have yet to get my nose on the wrist.

The durability is very good. Sprayed on yesterday earlier in the evening, I could perceive G this morning still as a hint.

As a solitaire fragrance, it is of course a bit boring in the long run. After the startling start, there is no real development. I would probably have a drop of vanilla, amber or sandalwood mixed with it in a reorder. But really only very carefully, I'd be worried that the gardenia would get lost in the mix otherwise. That's why I also advise rather from layering.
