This is what turned Violet Beauregarde into a blueberry

I will preface this by saying I like the idea of gourmands, but they just don't work on me. They inevitably will turn on my skin to this sickly sweet, chemical scent I have to scrub off.
I didn't even seek this out - I got this as a free sample when I ordered a few others off of Perfumology and found it weird but intriguing on paper. I sprayed some on my arm a couple hours ago, and oh boy. Not only has it not turned, I keep getting whiffs from my arm of decadent (blue)berry pie complete with the flaky crust part. I may be in love with this? Time will tell, but if I use up the whole sample I may have to go for a full bottle.
Sillage and longevity seem pretty decent so far.
It's pretty linear but so pleasant I don't mind.

Cooling Apple Berry Pie

Very sweet fruit scent at opening. Apples, Berrys, Maybe a hint of Cherry. There is a splash of yeasty/doughy pie crust. I think it’s pretty accurate to the name, smells like a cherry pie that’s been sitting on the counter all day. I wish the bready note was ‘warmer’ like it hadn’t been sitting out, in other frags I prefer it that way. The description of it is very accurate. I’m impressed how i can smell each listed note pretty easily. It’s really a fun one. I want to wear on skin to test for longevity.
