Where is the tonka bean
Having tested it at the niche perfumery "Mon flacon" I saw a lot of hype on social media about this fragrance.
I even saw a famous niche perfumery in Paris indicate that this fragrance is in the top 3 of sales; its presence made me want to try it. I quickly became disillusioned; the most prominent note is the apple, with a little bit cinnamon even if it remains discreet. I don't smell the tonka bean. We are closer of nothing AT all that the apple scent.
The sillage is weak, the longevity is very, very weak, and the performance is unworthy of a niche perfume house and the price charged.
We are light years away from apple references like Kilian Intoxicated and Hermès Ambre Narguilé.
