The Eternal Rose
Basically, I only bought this fragrance because I liked the packaging so much, but then this blind buy turned out to be a little stroke of luck.
A French company named "Provence & Santé" based in Mentan produces a whole range of natural fragrances. A series with EdTs and the corresponding ambience scents, as well as an organic series with EdPs and also the corresponding ambience scents. The company's appearance somewhat reminds me of our German Florascent, which produces and sells similar fragrances.
I have - how could it be otherwise with me - acquired the EdT ROSE ETERNELLE.
This fragrance in the rather unassuming bottle and the beautiful, round box is a real surprise. It smells exactly like wild roses, or dog roses, as they are also called. Every year, I always look forward to April/May when the wild roses open their simple, five-petaled flowers and release their typical yet irresistible scent.
Rose Eternelle is an absolute soliflore. From application to fading - and that takes a while, as it lasts surprisingly long - it simply smells of wild roses. I feel as if I am sitting in the middle of a huge, fully blooming rose bush. The projection is also remarkably good; the scent can still be clearly perceived even 2 meters away.
The sweetness is at most that of real rose petals, rather less, as a bright green rose leaf occasionally shines through.
I must admit, the quality of this fragrance makes me very curious about the other scents from Provence & Nature, and I will try to get a few more of them. I am sure that they will also be worth it, just like the Rose Eternelle.
