A Feast for My Nose.
This brand has taken me by storm. What exciting creations, and almost all with an unbelievably good longevity and a dreamy sillage.
I bought this fragrance as a sample because of the very intriguing notes and totally overlooked that it is marketed as a men's fragrance. For my nose, however, the scent is absolutely unisex. I even find it more feminine than masculine in the drydown. It might be masculine for the first 2 minutes, but certainly not after that..
The fragrance starts with a lot of lavender and a very nice soft O-flower. When you hold your nose very close to the spray point, there is a leathery aspect, but not at all when you just walk around in your own fragrance cloud without sniffing directly at the spray point. However, it doesn't take long before the fragrance takes a completely different direction, acquiring an unbelievably beautiful cypriol note, a note that I almost always love, combined with the most beautiful creamy jasmine ever. Over time, the fragrance becomes creamier, and the note of pine tar makes this scent so unique and so special, a feast for my nose. You can actually smell the tar very well, but it is so well and finely blended with the other notes that it gives a fantastic twist to this fragrance. Exciting and innovative without seeming strange in any way. I don't smell the cinnamon at all.. The fragrance shifts again in the further drydown into a fantastic direction of cedarwood and tonka. The very intriguing and new note for me, the pine tar, resonates throughout and gives the fragrance a "woody" aspect, a note that smells incredibly good to me.

I will definitely test several fragrances from this brand because they really have something. No 12 also sounds interesting.. The price is high, but it doesn't deter me because the quality and innovation of this brand are simply gigantic.. It's been a long time since I tested such an interesting fragrance. I don't think it's for everyone, but I love the scent..
