"I've been circling around
Now Women for some time now. The similarity to
Her Eau de Parfum or
Her Elixir de Parfum is what keeps being said about it.
Briefly for those who just want to know: I think it definitely resembles
Her Elixir de Parfum more - it has that creaminess, that overwhelming sweetness; what many would probably describe as "synthetic." The two are related, but not twins. Cousins, definitely.
If you don't like the two Burberrys:
Now Women will likely not be to your taste and will fall more into the "headache" category.
However, if you enjoy those syrupy sweet, pink-fluffy, and Arabic musky-heavy scents, then this could definitely be a good match.
In the opening (beware, 10 seconds of alcohol), the orange comes out first for me. However, it quickly shares the spotlight with red fruits, of which I would most likely associate strawberry. Everything happens quite quickly, and then the scent is already as it remains. A bright, yet very rich, syrupy jasmine note mixes in, while I perceive lily of the valley more in the background. Vanilla and musk really take charge in this fragrance, while moss remains my big question mark. Overall, it results in a creamy, powdery, floral-fruity scent with marshmallow (or rather pure sweetness) that indeed appears very pink. And well... it is very sweet. I don't see a milkshake here as often described, similar to "Yara | Lattafa / لطافة." Both lack that REALLY lactonic quality.
However, I don't perceive this negatively. I see it wonderfully in spring or on cool summer days. It fits perfectly into everyday life or warm evenings, for a date or going out. It radiates clear feminine vibes for me. I actually see it more on younger women - or in moments when one simply feels like a bit of Barbie feeling.
