Dancing on an unusual tightrope
I was once again influenced by the good Duftbunker and ordered this fragrance because I find tea fragrances very interesting. When I read DEM, I immediately thought of a Sunday morning, walking into the kitchen and seeing my mother brewing Turkish black tea.
THE starts with a sparkling bergamot that dances hand in hand with a fresh neroli on a tingling ginger-pepper rope. Meanwhile, the various teas envelop you with their tart, sweet and slightly green notes, reminding me of DiDi's bergamot iced tea. They now let themselves fall and land gently on a white musky field, which envelops them and sucks them in.
The fragrance reminds me a lot of Imagination by Louis Vuitton. However, the paths separate after the top note. DEM goes in a soft musky-patchouli direction and Imagination remains true to its citrusy-fresh line.
The longevity is good on my skin. 3 hours of projection and 6 hours of close-to-skin experience, with an invigorating trail of scent wafting past my nose from time to time, which is very pleasant in everyday life.
I had different expectations at the beginning, but DEM did it for me in the end. I am very satisfied and recommend this fragrance to others. I will spray DEM directly onto my balaclava and get on my motorcycle.
